Yeah, yeah, perhaps companies should spend less time talking it up and giving ESG so much air time in their annual reports. It is a tiny part of what they are doing and they mainly do it to "appease" some people. A good business is a good business because it provides something that people find valuable. Having the rainbow tick, high number of women on the exec, nice mix of ethnicity and diversity is not relevant when compared to is the company profitable, growing, has a great future potential etc. I know what I care about as an investor, and it isn't the ESG reporting.
