From personal experience my opinion on OP saying she doesn't know if she will give him another chance is a way of dealing with the pain of the loss. I'm sure she won't, she is protecting her heart from the permanence of it all. Change is difficult even when it's a good change. The ending of the story was more of a wishful thinking of a person. This story had a good Exposition, plot, rising action, conflict, but extremely poor climax, falling action, and the Resolution.
