Here to give solid tips: I got band 8 in Academic Speaking. Prepare for some typical questions such as arts, sports, favourite holidays etc... You need to be very fluent if you wanna get high score in speaking. Some gramatical errors might happen during speaking but your fluency matters a lot. Good luck to everyone.

@@kainatkudalkar1003 just do not overthink much. Part 1 and 2 are just pretty easy. I wasn’t fluent really, I stutter sometimes. In Part 3 they asked me a couple of questions. Like 4 different topics. Don’t forget to smile to the instructor. Lol! That helps too

You are right they are able identified memorized answer. As far as I remember, when I took my speaking exam and mentor asked me 1st question. I said the answer like without any difficulties and then he said another which was totally new for me. After that I felt little bit nervous. When I got the result, my speaking score satisfied me ❤❤

thank you for your advice, especially on the assumed formality of the IELTS speaking test !! prior to intensively studying the art of the test, i've always thought that impressing the examiner was a key factor in a high speaking score when in fact, it depends on how natural and fluent you speak !! i will be taking my test in less than a week, and i will definitely keep this in mind too 🤍

another widespread cliche : You are memorizing answers. What the hell should people do in the face of those stupid questions which do not make sense? I am perfectly sure that many people are not able to talk about those questions in their mother tongue . This exam is a enormous scam.
