No. Break-ups can really sting badly. I had a bitter break-up and my revenge was starting up a band and writing a song about my betrayal, hoping it would be angry and loud enough for her to one day hear. A Sort of "You Otta Know" by Alanis Morissette kind of song.

@@carlycrays2831 Nothing in real life, but for a concept such as The Purge that provides an excuse for this troubled ex-lover to get revenge. I know it's not right, but many people have been rejected by someone who were once kind and loving to you and following a bitter breakup, I'm sure the thought of revenge enters the scorned ex-lover's mind. This just amps it up to fit the scenario.
