This is a perfect horror movie once you know the ending. She becomes a whole different kind of slow roll villain. This movie gets better with every rewatch.

Nathan was a fool for not knowing what was causing the power cuts. I know he finds out later but anyone like that would have run diagnostics and traced the faults to Ava’s room. A system that advanced shouldn’t be having power outages that often.

This movie is amazing....re watching these scenes i cant help but feel like i want to trust her just like my first time watching but i also know that she simply wants us to trust her. Its in your face the whole time of what can go wrong but our human nature wants them to be together so we ignore all warning.

And I'm not saying everyone fell for her on the first watch but I'm guessing vast majority of people did not expect for her to leave caleb at the end maybe until like midway through the movie if at all. She made you believe that she was going to at least escape with caleb and if nothing else go her own separate way. Not sure why she left him either he was going to help her at all cost and show her the ropes of the real world

well what it ultimately points to, is that with the exsistance of A.I. (without a moral compass) which Nathan failed to provide her with apparently. Then on a sexual/reproductive level, A.I. would be far more advanced than humans, easy to manipulate them and eventually control or point to their possible probable extinction.

Nathan intentions were to create the perfect AI, challenging the AI's cunning manipulation to achieve wat it wants with 100% efficiency and it worked. The only person he underestimated was Caleb but never ava

She does not have to cause any power outage to lock Caleb in ... the only thing she needed to do is to use Nathan's card to lock the door as she walks out of Nathan's room (she's holding Nathan's access card which she got from Nathan's dead body)...

@@sayros6711 No, you're missing a big intellectual plot, Kyoko was formatted so that she can't remember being in that room fighting to get out, but everytime she's around them she learns more history and how she's Ava. It's worse when she watches the clips of Ava though, it all comes back faster what she went through, and eventually how she hates Nathan.
