IMHO that little item at the very end about your very first taste of flight is so, so true. I first flew when I was in high school, then enlisted in the Air Force right out of high school. Trained ground maintenance mechanic. Eventually got chance to fly on B-52's about five or six times. Will never forget it! I still catch myself looking skywards to this day and I'm 84 yrs old.Would love to do it all over again!!

Thanks so much for highlighting the important work of the Commemorative Air Force. What a great organization keeping history alive. I flew on the WASP Squadron's AT-6 "Nella" a couple of years ago. My smile was as big as yours. Thanks for another great video.

Great video! That shot on take off put a lump in my throat. A suggestion, if your ever in the southwest Kansas area it is well worth your time to stop by the Mid-America Air Museum. They have a website I would post but it seems KZbin deletes it go figure. "During WWII, it was a B-24 Liberator training base that prepared more command pilots than any other B-24 training base. An original B-24 hangar still stands hauntingly empty nearby. The original WWII runways are still visible from the air, and two are still in use."

Honey you just got an E-ticket ride I am so jealous. It's been almost 40 years since I volunteered for the CAF and got to fly in Sentimental Journey and Fifi also Liberty Bell and Blue Max. The Liberty Bell had to land hear in Colorado because of a fire on board and burned to the ground all passengers safe. The Blue Max F4U crashed near Brown Field east of San Diego pilot Marshall Moss RIP
