That moment when he said if you blink, you will miss out on the offering really resonates with me. When I was looking for a pentecostal church to fellowship with, I prayed that God would show me one that doesn't guilt trip you into gving money to the offering. In my opinion, the offering that you give should be devoid of any pressure, no one needs to use bible verses to tell you about how much you need to give to the church, if they pressure you and you start to give your offering because of pressure, it is no longer coming from a good place and that totally defeats the purpose of how offering works. God did indeed send me to a pentecostal church where I need to make sure my money is out and ready otherwise the guy with the offering pouch is gone in a sec if I don't stretch out my hand on time. So now, I make a point of going out to withdraw money ready for sunday, when the offering is being collected, I'm ready to give and it's such a good feeling to give without pressure.

This Pastor is right on tithing but he needs to update his knowledge of the scriptures. The contributions Apostle Paul told the church in Corinth to set aside was meant to go to poor & needy believers in Jerusalem who were under persecution by the authorities. This practice didn't go on for long, it was just for a period of time to help believers who were in need. Tithing is unchristian, it actually symbolizes denial of the death & resurrection of Christ.
