I love Ember. He has so much potential. Don't be too stressed. He is learning and you can really see the difference. Just watched the first SUKO and you can really tell a difference from season II. I've been watching forever and have ridden OTBs most of my life. Always a challenge but when you click it is so worth it!

ember is such a gorgeous horse, i really think he will be super special. he reminds me of my ottb mare who passed earlier in the year - we had our issues in the beginning but when we sorted through them she was just perfect. massive kudos to you for sticking with him & best of luck for the future, thank you for sharing his journey with us :)

Your journey with Ember has been so inspirational. I have a young mare that has very nappy tendencies, all related to lack of confidence being out on xc by herself. Its been great seeing the progress you've made with Ember just continuing to get him out and improve his confidence.

I love watching your videos with Ember, I find them very encouraging. I have a very tricky ex racer mare who I'm making very slow progress with. She runs hell for leather at jumps then put dirty stops in, she gets really het up jumping but also appears to absolutely love it when it goes well. Flatwork and getting any sort of consistent connection with her is hit and miss. Switched her to a trust inno sense bit which she takes more than a metal one, but progress is so slow. Has your trainer really helped you? I don't get much assistance with my mare, just bits and bobs here and there, and all the trainers tell me she is very tricky, but she also have moments of brilliance so it's so frustrating :s

I think what’s helped me is not rushing things at all. Like I know he can jump big, but I’ve purposely kept the jumps small until we improved his technique. My trainer has been fab! Definitely find someone who can support you and give you consistent help, it really worked for me 👏

Ember is awesome. I have lost almost enough weight for an Ember of my own. Definitely light enough for a slightly bigger Thoroughbred. Thanks for the inspiration. Ember looks like so much fun.

Such a difference Welldone Lucy for perserveing! I feel like we have a similar journey with an external whizzy forward horse but nappy & backwards thinking at the same time . Some horses are just wired differently to others! Keep going 🙏🏼🙏🏼⚡️
