I'm not a gleek, I just like the show. And it wouldn't ruin her, whether or not you like it, it would help her to build a bigger following for her band. It's not commonly known that she's a talented singer.

I think many are expecting some Katy Perry, or Beyonce type of canned bubble gum Pop that has permeated our airwaves, convincing the masses that they have been listening to great music. Not that those singers aren’t extremely talented, and have exceptionally beautiful voices, but Krysten is doing her own thing, clearly singing with her soul, and it comes through vividly in the music. Listen to her other songs. The melody goes where you don’t expect it to go, and like life, it lingers, dips, fades, transgresses, and twists into quite an enjoyable, folksy piece of music. Her music might be well suited to a movie soundtrack.
