About exploring in ME1: I left the Citadel without doing Dr. Michel's exploit, so I was near broke. All I did was go, step by step, to every cluster, go to each system in that cluster, and visited each planet in that system that I could survey from orbit. In doing so, I finished about half of each of the collection quests, earned an extra level, and finished with roughly 8k credits. Time spent: 15 minutes.

I recently went through ME1 Legendary and discovered a side passage on the final elevator trench run I'd never gone before. Wasn't much there beyond a couple extra Krogan to shotgun in the face, but still. Ten years or so and still discovering!

Usually because of the time it takes to change ammo around for your weapons, I usually stick to Photon Rounds for assault rifles, sniper rifles, and pistols because it bypasses shields. I use High Explosive Rounds for the shotguns. I usually just upgrade my shields for my armor, since you should be behind cover anyway. Nothing for melee because if there close enough to melee, then they're too close anyway

Explosive rounds are great in sniper rifles, basically an instant kill, pretty sure you can just hit the ground next to them so you don't have to be super accurate, and the overheating isn't as big a deal since you're so far away.

On my off stream play through I am midway through Feros. I've done Therum and a buuunch of side quests. Still a ways to go. My stream play through just finished Therum (so lagging behind my off stream file by a bit). Jordan, I'm sure you have some thoughts on essentially playing the game twice at one time (on stream and off). I'm finding using my off stream file is informing what exactly I'll be doing during a given stream session - which has been helpful. But after years of playing these games, I've never run two files at the same time. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on your experience playing with two active save files.

As to on the fly ammo shifting, Ive been playing since Mass Effect. Always found having sauadmates tailored for Cryo/Inferno rounds polarities, plus an adaptable Shepard, to dominate on any game of the franchise @ any difficulties. May this help incoming players.

Explosive rounds on Wrex's shotgun and Garrus' sniper...sit back and watch the enemies fly far, far away Edit: To any new players, the best squadmate for opening stuff is Tali (Edit: or Garrus!) as she is the only one who can have (and thus updrade) BOTH skills required unlock containers and hack computers. Side note: The ability to hack terminals is the electronics ability...not the hacking ability. Yes it makes perfect sense, don't question it :)

Tali, Garrus and Kaidan all have both skills needed to open all containers. Hacking is for Geth, so I guess that makes her the best companion to take if you expect to fight Geth *and* need to open containers in the same mission. Otherwise, either Garrus or Kaidan would do as well.

@@crackersdrake8448 *So* much better! I joke that it was a reward for those of us who saved him in the first game! Of course, his personality doesn’t really change, so if that’s the reason you hate him, the fact that he’s become indispensable in combat probably won’t change your mind. But he’s routinely in the party I take to the endgame, where you have to hold off a zerg rush of very high-level enemies, and he’s a big help. The only bad thing is you don’t have access to him for half the game.

I started ME for the first time last week I not long ago passed that part when you have the choice to attack balak and let those scientists die or let Balak escape disarm 3 bombs and and save the scientists, really enjoying ME lengendary editiin so far 💯🔥

Just finished Mass Effect 1 LE on Insanity. Fi ished is in 25 hours and indid all side assignments too.. Not too bad... I remember ME1 being the toughest game to beat on Insanity out of the trilogy. On too ME2.

O.o i always found ME2 to be far more difficult... i guess for ME1 it depends very much on the class u play... as a soldier i found legendary difficulty hilariously easy... as soon as i got the first rosenkov weapons it was smooth sailing... and once i began droping sledgehammer rounds, bought colossus heavy armor and SPECTRE weapons i was basically immortal

I literally just finished mu first playthrough of all 3 games in legendary edition. I can confidently say that insanity in ME1 felt surprisingly easy! Barely a death. Insanity in ME2 felt a little tougher but nothing too frustrating... but in ME3.... that shit feels tough and strategy felt super important on insanity and still died none stop in some areas/bosses. Anyone else feel like insanity difficulty just got more ‘insane’ through each game?

In Mass Effect 1 it can depend on your class. You may have a skill tree for armor (depending on what class you picked) and you may need to level it up to unlock the ability to wear medium armor. Adept, just as an example, can only wear light armor.

Gun rights aren't American rights, they're human rights. Any adult who isn't currently incarcerated or adjudicated as being mentally unfit (which I think should be limited to no more than a 5 year renewable term of being disallowed) should be able to carry a gun and use it to defend themselves or another person.

Oh god I cant Express how much this game sucks. Let me attempt to list them: 1. Your allies die in the first minute of any battle. They dont seek cover unless you specifically direct them. 2. Your weapons deal near negligible damage AND they are not accurate. Maybe 1 in 5 shots actually hits the enemy. 3. Tou have levels where you are fighting - after the first minute- 8 or 9 or more enemies by yourself. I'm stuck in like the first missions- at a boss battle with an armored turtle that is invincible- and after 35 attempts at passing it, have now thrown this bullshit game in the trash.
