It’s another Fletcher for my collection, that’s about it. It’s fine but it made no sense for it to be a t8 on release, and even after the buff it should be a t7. The buff did help, though.

I feel the problem w the T-8 Destroyer comparisons, M’Lord… is that you Always find yourself saying at the end of the match… “What if I’d simply been playing the Lushun, instead ?” 😅

@@AlekTrev006 I used to think I’d rather play pretty much anything at T8 aside from the Neustrashimy over the Velos. But now it’s… more playable.

I’ve only played since February. And love the Benson. And actually liked the feel of the Velos, albeit I have no experience of tier Viii in anything else. Buff - sounds good! Good info again. Thanks

It did get better .. my last battle was a 203k match ... The major problem is that long range sonar and radar rule the DD world at tier 7 and higher with DD's like split and up hitting way harder with their shells. Velos would have been great 2 years ago

Sumner, Kita, Lushun, Katsonis, and maybe Smaland. If u aren’t in one of those ur putting yourself at a disadvantage. And they’re the only ones that I feel hold their own in LT too. Taking a Yugumo, Z46, etc into LT can burn u. Jutland is tough because on its own it fits into tier 8 well, but daring is just so much better it makes Jutland seem subpar

i never had the velos and iam NOT intrested in it cuase i kept smashing that thing in my other dds but i really feel like as a bb and dd main now they do give m just a littile of the scary hengies but still its fine from the stats i saw imo

You’ll probably still smash it with other DDs. But you might get surprised if it hits you kind of hard with a good salvo now.

@@Xarkun exactly what iam talking about it went from hitting me with like 1k per salvo to 2k so now i have to waste or use my smoke for it if the person commanding it is actually good which is not often pretty rare ngl

I'm entirely convinced torpedo DDs get a bad rap because none of the CCs actually play torpedo DDs. Not being able to land 90 knot torps on BBs is 100% skill issue, smh. Yes you landed the dev strike eariler, but missing every salvo on Marco Polo is sad. You dropped torps that were instantly spotted by the CV, and you were dropping torps at 9km, giving him way too much time, especially if you knew he was periodically changing his course. You have low detectability for a reason.....

​​@@tokewithtom5111 Even if they still did they'd still be focused more on their own damage output since their spotting ability for the team has been reduced to putting a marker on a minimap and having to use the command wheel to manually call out each individual ship to tell their team what is where which most of the potatoes will mistake for "Feck there's a red DD there abandon flank!"

Garbage opinion from people who couldn't land the easiest to hit torpedos in the entire game, LOL. Having a higher alpha is meaningless if you can't even land a single hit.

You lost that game because of the dumb Battleship players on your team… to lose all three so early in a game, is pathetic… they all probably got those ships out of crates and were as usual, clueless as how to play them. As far as your performance goes, it was pretty damn tasty… well played! 🫡
