Don't worry about the Golem fight, I've been stuck at it today for hours haha. It kind of cheered me up, because if you just breezed through him like he's nothing I'd feel bad about myself, and seeing you, a veteran of this game, struggle with him as well made me feel like maybe the boss is the problem and not me :D Thanks for continuing the series, I probably wouldn't have given the game another try if it wasn't for you, and I'm having great fun this time around ;) Keep it up!

I used Force Barricade to trap this boss in a corner of the room with me, it sounds dangerous given the physics damage update but the golem AI isn't good with cramped spaces and the barricade blocks his swipes. Spamming overheads with a polearm was very effective. You can just place down two barricades while standing in the middle of the room so the barricades push into the corner and the golem will follow once you step in.

If you noticed that if you Barrier the Golem Knight's first swing, he does not get a follow up so you can land and then parry or just back off and its so easy if you have good timing.

I cant believe you managed to kill the President!!! Thats badass man! I didnt knew you can kill the golems. I just ran away from them or anklebroke them into a wall, wich is hilarious. You can find the encased blue crystal in the east portion of the Golem factory. Ive read that the normal blue depletes and doesn´t recharge unlike the encased one. Ive endet up ditching the Power Armor on my playthrough cause you can only swing a few times before it´s out of juice, after that you move like a sack potatoes. Anyways, I fell in a hole and died :( gl to you!

However I always wondered why you never wait for your mana or stamina to regen? Is it a time thing? Do enemies regen health as well? Just curious, Great content and can't wait for the next episode.

The camera snap is set to space bar (I think the default is V?) and then for manual movement its clicking the middle mouse button and holding.

That was hilarious. Very good weapon recovery on each attempt id say...but that giant gets a little too close when you enter the room and it can be quite uncomfortable with him running up to your backside.... o_X

he truly is an easy enemy, he doesn't even close the distance unless you let him. I play with him using barricade and beat him up using my fists, I finished him using "wave" and he flew across the room at mach 7 and died.

And this is why i largely avoid the president since the new movement update. The armor just isnt good enough to justify the danger, its a fun boss to fight at the very end of your run after youve explored and done everything else though. The other armor you find on this level is more than good enough. Im happy they made him more difficult, he was a bit easy before, but now doing it solo is a legitimate run ender.

I've never played exanima before (well I did but only got to like level 3, I was very bad at the game) I just re-tried it now because youtube recommended me Odin's videos again I used to watch a lot a long time ago. I just got to golem president today, and Jesus Christ I kid you not I spent like three hours trying to beat him solo, because Derrin just kept getting slapped around when Boss was aggroed on me. How I spent 3 hours on him? I knew it's probably gonna be tough so I copied my save files and after I got fully dead I just swapped the saves back to before the fight. The golem boss is so much harder than everything else in the game that's not even funny. A big demon and two alpha ghouls? EZ-PZ. Big Golem? Real shit.
