Lanyard is for your wrist if you were to use the drill up a hight so if you were to drop it well its there around your wrist not that anyone would use it tho good video as always well done 👍

Hi Phill, Excel do make good tools for the DIYer like my self, I do have a Excel drill mains powered and that is a good drill. I have got a Craft battery drill I've had for 7-8 years still works well, and a Black and Dekker battery drill I bought last year from a car boot sale a good drill for £6. Like your self I don't use the belt clip never fitted it and I have cut off the lanyard on the Craft drill. A good demonstration and a honest review great video, Take care
