Excellence Playa Mujeres | Food and Drinks Review| Was it Worth the Cost?

We stayed at The Excellence Playa Mujeres for 3 nights in November 2022. We were excited to try an Excellence Resort Property since we had heard so many great things about Excellence Resorts!
This is a review of the food and the drinks at The Excellence Playa Mujeres. Definitely check out all of the videos that we did on Excellence Playa Mujeres before booking this resort!
Excellence Playa Mujeres is located about 40-50 minutes North of the Cancun Airport. It is in a very private part of the Cancun area. So if you are looking for a resort that is safe but also has all of the amenities you could want, Excellence Playa Mujeres is a great choice! It is definitely not considered a budget friendly resort but it is well worth the cost of what you pay to stay here!

I lived the beach the best so far at Hyatt Ziva. If you like waves then Le Blanc or somewhere in the heart of the hotel zone. Excellence still is the best adults only (Hyatt is a hybrid) so far that had everything I like!

Le Blanc did have amazing food! Live Aqua is also supposed to although I’ve never been. Unico 2087 too. Going to Atelier in a few days! That’s winning a ton of awards. If you need help booking [e-mail]

The Kitchen Table offers a full lunch buffet. Steak, sushi, pizza , soups, desserts. Great for breakfast and lunch now.

FYI - non-Excellence Club rooms also get 4 full size bottles of liquor. Non-EC rooms have Smirnoff vodka, Cuervo Gold, Bacardi or Captain's white rum, and a bottle of wine or whiskey. EC will have Johnny Walker Black, Absolut, Jimador, and Bacardi or other rum.

I’m going to my third Excellence Resort for my birthday next week El Carmen…been to Oyster Bay last month and Riviera Cancun last year….they have bars in all rooms and you’re correct….the food isn’t the best but isn’t bad either.

Thanks for watching!!! We hadn’t been to Le Blanc as of the EpM video so it was the most expensive at that time!! Even though Le Blanc had better food if I had to pick between the two I’d pick EPM because it was less snobby lol

Awe I hate you didn’t have a good food experience, we love the food here, we like to restaurant hop and get different courses at different places, we have our favorites, we aren’t buffet fans so it’s not a issue for us, and there’s nothing better than breakfast at Lobster house but we do also like to order breakfast the night before for a certain time and eat on the terrace.
