Tip for Sunscreen you can buy Sunscreen in stick form (looks like deodorant) it does not count as a liquid/gel and you also won't go through it as quickly. We use Neutrogena Mineral Ultra Sheer SPF 50 - Zinc Oxide

Cash advice: open a separate account with no international fees just for travel cash and get an ATM card. Fund it with the amount of cash you'll need for your trip. If it get stolen, that's bad, but it won't be your entire checking or savings account.

My husband and I went on a cruise for our honeymoon. On the very first night I noticed some pain in my hand. It turned out my cold wildness Canadian hands were not used to the moisture of the Caribbean, and I was swelling under the humidity so much that my wedding ring was cutting off the circulation to my finger! I got that ring off with sheer will and I never traveled with it again. Very good tip not to bring important jewelry when traveling. You might lose it, but you also might have to cut it off!

Exactly! When you travel with carry on luggage or personal item, it's a life and money saver! I have traveled with carry on for two weeks, I just try to book a hotel where they have laundry room or washing service. The only thing that I am very "generous" packing is underwear 😅

So glad I know most of these already from my own experiences and watching your content. My favorite brand for luggage is Samsonite! They've got it down to a science and have never failed me. All of my suitcases since I traveled back in high school have been from them. My last set lasted 7 years and its still functional, I just recently upgraded to a hard side for the 360 degree wheels.

@ Well I finally decided! Lol. I used your “how to pick an all inclusive thingamajig” and realized what I really wanted. I’m a solo male traveler 60 years old and it’s time to get pampered ha! Aaaand the winner is…. Iberostar Joia Bavaro. Going all out with a butler suite. The property, restaurants and the wine bar and cigar bar tipped everything in its favour. Thanks for helping!

About debit cards, I have a travel checking account with a debit card with a limited amount of money to draw if needed like in Japan where cash is still king. I would pay more for a direct flight but earlier this year I chose a connecting SW flight through Oakland to the Big Island because I would be there for a month anyway and so no pressure. Carry-on luggage is my way of travel. Another thing, I book flights directly through the airlines' websites as well as hotels websites. I do not want to be told to deal problems with a secondary company.

I just booked five nights at Excellence El Carman, my first all-inclusive stay. We have done day passes while on cruises and decided that was our favorite part of the cruise, so why not cut out the cruise and go straight to the all-inclusive? I've been binge-watching your reviews and tips. You do a really good job showing the resort highlights and giving honest, straightforward advice. I'm just curious if you have plans to try Excellence Oyster Bay in Jamacia.

I agree with just about every one but if I’m traveling typically I’m going for seven days so I really can’t manage without a checked bag put the number one I have to agree with is never flying spirit or frontier we live in New Jersey. Also, they are complete scam and what I always tell people is, they don’t even have an 800 number to call if something goes wrong. How could you fly then?

My carry on bag cost me 40 bucks. I figured that if it lasted a couple trips it would be worth it. I've used it twice so far and it's holding up great. My wife has an expensive carry on and she'd rather pull mine in the airport because it rolls better. It's so generic I don't think it even has a brand name. 😂

@@3Days3Noches When it tears up, though, I think I will get something a little nicer. Another good tip for people is to tie a colorful ribbon or put a distinctive sticker or something on their luggage to make it easier to pick out on the carousel just incase they make you check it.

I don't do credit cards and this may seem strange, but I always take my debit card, but I use my app to deactivate it first and I wrap it in aluminum foil so it can't be read by RFID devices.

Here's another Pro tip that I didn't see mentioned never ever take a cab from the airport to your hotel every single time I've tried it its 3 to 5 times more expensive than an Uber

Some of your “never dos” is just ridiculous. Not everyone travels just for 3 days so we need to check luggage. Connections really aren’t a big deal. Every airline has its issues. Not just frontier and spirit. Sure they have limits but so does every airline. They just choose to enforce it. If I take 5 bottles of sunscreen I bought at Walmart for $10 each, I still save money vs buying 5 for $30. Even paying for that checked bag. Some of your stuff I agree with. Don’t wear your real jewelry.
