I have returned to my beloved island and country for the fourth time with a singular purpose: to attend the grand opening ceremony of our Village Education Center in Polonnaruwa. This series on Sri Lanka will be brief, consisting of only five videos, after which I must depart. During my short visit, I endeavored to capture as much footage as possible to showcase the country's beauty from new locations in the central region. Now what is needed is more visitors, tourists to make this experience more viable. Everything is there but the travellers. Sri Lanka really is a great destination and very interesting and varied. It is a lot more than just a beach destination, and as you can see most people have a little English so most tourists will find it easy to communicate too. Mukunvenna is I think a kind of watercress that is used to make a green salad with coconut and other ingredients.

tourist arrivals for may was 83 000 , for june , it was 101 000, for july was 143 000 , reaching little by little to prepandemic levels ow monthly average of 200 000( pre pandemic level per month) first 6 days alone of august attracted 32 000 tourists.
