Yes, 2020, she had the CCL tear and had TTA surgery to fix her knee. Just a few weeks ago, she hurt her other knee, and we aren't sure if it was a partial tear or just arthritis. They suggested PRP therapy, and omg this dog was just doing ZOOMIES in my office. (we are about 5 weeks out). So I think it really did work for her! My friend's dog has Stem Cell treatment when he has his Knee surgery last year! And it worked WONDERS for his girl! We will keep paws crossed for you!

Thank you for clarifying! That's so promising to hear, I didn't know you knew of someone's doing getting stem cell treatment! Key's appointment is in 8 days, scary, but I'm hopeful he'll be a lot more comfortable after it!
@ElleArre2 ай бұрын
Ask them if they are human stem cells and/or embryonic stem cells. They would be killing the embryo stage of a innocent child. Please also ask what animal that they had gotten these stem cells from, and was it the embryonic stage of these dogs, then they are killing dogs to get their stem cells at their embryonic stage of gestation. Please be aware of this in order to ask them where they get the stem cells from. I hope this helps. I love all of You ,Key, and his funny Nan...lol How is He doing after Jaime's visit?
@silver_fengo2 ай бұрын
@@ElleArre I don't know if you saw any of the updates, but they're taking stem cells from Key's own body (his belly fat to be specific), she also mentioned it in this video (albeit briefly, even I didn't catch it at first)

But you and your Mom will do everything possible to make sure he has the best care. Btw, I love your pottery. You are such a talented young woman. It would be interesting if you and Jamie got together in a business. You’re so good with crafts and Jamie is so good at home projects. Let us know if you need help with vet bills. My four legged fur baby Rudder’s motto is you better give me a Muuy-Muuy, or I going to give you trick that (believe me) you won’t enjoy. So what’s a Muuy-Muuy you ask well that is my Rudder pronunciation/vocalization of Yum-Yums which is what my niece called his treats when she was first learning to talk. Anyway as a result Yum-Yums or Muuy-Muuys are used universally in my house when referring to Rudder’s treats.

Many years ago we had to have our Siberian's ACL surgically repaired on both of her rear legs. Obviously there was a considerable time between having them done, but she recovered quite well, quite quickly and regained full use of both her rear legs afterwards. We were pleased with the end result and believe we made the correct choice in having surgery to correct the issue for out little girl. I think it really is up to you and your Vet on deciding what the best path forward is for Key. Tough calls on making decisions of this nature but doing nothing is not an option because you want to help him out in whatever fashion you believe is best for him. Good luck in whatever you decide and I hope all works out well. PS - Our little girl "Ketah" could have been a twin to Key. Outside of our Siberian having blue eyes she looked just like Key.

Stem cell treatments are used in other processes for dogs by vets, Professor Noel Fitzpatrick uses it sometimes when doing his orthopaedic surgeries with good success. I hope Key does well with this new course of treatment Jodie. No more doing running roll overs for him though, maybe block off his digging corner as well. You’re so multi talented Jodie!
@gullreefclub2 ай бұрын
Do you think that blocking off K’ey’s digging corner is even possible? After all K’ey can be extremely strong minded so I not sure anything short of filling that hole full of bricks would stop him and even if it did I have no doubts that Key would find another spot in the house to dig when he gets the Zoomies

Hi, Jodie and KEY. I've been away for awhile. I guess your wondering where I've been lately. Well my internet was down for about a week and a half due to bad outage where I live. Some peaple lost power and ( tv )- and- wi-fi ) for for a lengthy time. I just got connected on Monday of this week. So I'v been trying to catch up on my notifications. Your's was the first to catch up on. I missed you Jodie and Key so much. actually watched some of your videos twice. I'v was watching your video blog on when you were talking about. A treatment for KEYS leg wrist or paw. When you said it was exciting and scary at the same time. Your right Jodie. It is exciting and scary. You were asking if anybody ever had the same problem with there animals. For myself I'v heard of this treatment on people but never on animals. I hope this procedure is safe for KEY. You said it was a ( 6-hour-) procedure. I didn't know ( T-cells ) were located in the blood. Then injected into the injured area. Ok i understand this know this now. I won't bug you anymore about this. Take good care of him Jodie your his mom,his best friend,and care giver. He'll be alright He has the best care givers in the vet. He'll be doing zoomies,and barrell rolls in no time. I see you were deciding still on your hair and what to do with it i think I like the way you had before. ( strawberry blonde and keep it the same length. So now i that i caught up on your videos.i was wondering if a person wanted to donate money to KEYs operation how would a person do this. Because you mentioned it was very high amount.. well I'll sign off now. ( your-u-tube) fan Derrick 🙄.

So impressed with how organized your garage/kiln is now - looks so neat! Wow - you’ve been working hard! Your hair looks great right now - like the colours! ❤ I had an anterior crucial ligament tear 70% through, 38 years ago - couldn’t put heel down - operation helped but for the rest of my life scar tissue from the Operation (not the original tear) prevents me locking my right knee and prevents me putting all my weight on my right leg. I always favour this knee = caused misalignment while walking & hip, knee, ankle & back pain. Later had a medial meniscus tear in right knee. Operations - Knee Surgeon said to me, “as you well know”, sometimes Operations cause as many problems as they fix. Can’t avoid scar tissue and the damage it can cause. I think if I had had access to better Physio post-op (it was delayed far too long - as prescribed by Chief of Orthopaedics the Physio had to physically wrench my knee back against itself to tear through post op scar tissue - twice- with no pain killers - our CDN health system is no better than your NHS). If I had got scar tissue stretched & manipulated earlier, I may have not had 38 years of pain. I did, lately, find a Naturopath who helped with pain using multiple treatments and her “magic thumbs” to unlock muscles all over my wonky body. Good luck with Key’s treatment - you ARE between a rock and a hard place with this decision. Sending all the good luck vibes to Key that I can. ❤❤❤

Oh that sounds like such a nightmare to go through! Glad you're doing better with the pain now though, it's terrible when things don't get treated the right way straight away.

@@jodie_boo Just saying sometimes Op’s have unforeseen complications. I’ve seen you massage Key before - so maybe try to find an expert on preventing excessive scar tissue formation, post-op. Do know the Snow Dog lady - she must have tons of helpful advice having had multiple huskies and maybe surgeon can point you to helpful post-op physios/naturopaths! Do dog’s have Naturopaths? Must have! But, sincerely, wishing you & Key all the best!

I know I personally would prolly go for the surgery if I was in the same situation with my dog cuz then I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore (other than the surgery itself and the recovery) but we're all different and surgery can be scary especially for our pets who handle it differently. Anyway I wish you and Key and yr fam all the best no matter what you choose to do. It's tough when the dogs start getting older cuz stuff that might not have been bothering them much start to pile up and get worse rapidly and it sneaks up on ya. Scary and sad.
