£60K is the cap and under extreme circumstances a CEO can get higher with a proven track record. Lowest isn't £60K as Hannah said, it is the cap for the majority of charities. She had no track record, she just saw money signs.

They were well off, upper class & very comfortably living people before the charity, yet felt the need to still take as much as they could from the charity’s foundation & used that name to get fraudulent permission to build a spar for themselves. The Charity Commission released their report today. Responding to the Commission's report, the Ingram-Moores said they had been treated "unfairly and unjustly"…… The report doesn’t actually reflect the sweetness and light portrayed in this interview….. “…….Mr and Mrs Ingram-Moore were disqualified, in July, from being a trustee or holding a senior management position in charities for a period of eight and 10 years respectively…” Such a shame that Capt Tom’s “legacy” has not been protected at all….in fact quite the opposite. 🤬

That’s not how it works in the real world though. Very few people could afford to volunteer full time, and even fewer have experience in the public or private sector doing that specific role (which is essential). The crossover is probably nil. There’s a big difference between what a CEO and executives do compared to what volunteers on the ground do.
