Exclusive: Conor Mcgregor on His Hollywood Debut In 'Road House'

Richard sat down to chat with UFC megastar Conor McGregor ahead of the premiere of Road House - his first feature film opposite Hollywood legend Jake Gyllenhaal. Dickie finds out whether Conor was able to ‘mess up Jake’s pretty face’ as he vowed to do ahead of production, and asks if there’s truth in Conor’s claims to be the highest-paid debut non-actor of all time! Gyllenhaal stars as Dalton, an ex-UFC fighter trying to escape his dark past.But things escalate with the arrival of ruthless gun-for-hire, Knox, played by UFC legend McGregor.

This is Conor being professional during the promotional run for the movie, because he has to. Not saying he’s not a professional, he most definitely is in a lot of ways, but he is also just a normal flawed human like the rest of us. Conor stated literally a day or two ago that as much as he’s enjoyed making this movie, he wants to now regroup with his team and get fight ready. He also has 2 fights left on his UFC contract, so we will see him fight again. The question is when, because the Chandler fight is slated for 29th June but there is no actual contractual agreements yet.

Something great about Conor in all his interviews he's building other people up. In this one giving his acting coaches shoutouts, just saw another where he gave the stunt directors shoutouts.
