Love him or hate him (and I love him), Connor's achievements have been incredible. Real life rags-to-riches story and he did it the hardest way imaginable, taking huge risks and literally throwing himself into the arena. Impossible to not admire what he's accomplished.

I kinda give props to some of those fights but can't help it when John is fighting 5 dudes if you watch them they are walking into him, planning their roundhouse punches and tbh I see it as way over-choregraphed. When they slice and edit sure, but so many looked silly. Watch the enemies not John and you'll see it can look slow and ugh... Just my opinion..

Oh no, there is plenty of fighting in the movie, so fans of the original or just action fans will like it. The love scene deals with repressed feelings and how they can be turned into violence, i thought is was beautifully done and a real surprise, was not thinking there would be any in a nowadays remake. This movie was ridiculous, but I do admire the novel fight scene tecniques they used. It's a pretty badass move to show a head butt from the side angle and make it 100% look like contact was made. At first, I thought McGregor was bad...but I'm trying to picture someone else doing that role and I can't. He can't act(yet), but he does have some great screen presence.

Saw this film today, conor made the film. Tbh i dont know why it's rated so low on IMDB, must be a mcgregor hater because i found the film more entertaining than the perverse big blockbuster films like oppenheimer.

I'm going to be honest Roadhouse is one of my favorite movies and when I heard a remake was being made I did doubt it but after watching the preview I think it's going to be a pretty good movie

Yeah, it's sadly obvious in this interview. I ate seeing strong, successful people being brought down by addiction. Its awful!
