Why wouldn't he? Clearly that's an attribute that women find desirable. He ran thru 5 women with ease in serious relationships, had 6 kids, had the last wife lie for him (provide alibi) even after he told her that he murdered his previous wife, married his last wife when she was 19, was engaged to a 23 year old in 2008 (long after his story of murder was known by all), had a full fledged career in policing, and is now 70... too old to really enjoy anything outside of prison anyway. Inside, everything is taken care for him.

@tylerdurden7142 You’re implying she somehow deserved her fate?! She was 16 when she met Peterson. She was a child. He is a sociopath who took advantage of every woman in his life. Most of all, he continues to abuse the children from each of his marriages by continuing his charade of innocence. It's very telling that he's contentedly associating with pedophiles in prison. That's a HUGE taboo in prison culture. He claims inmates don't ask each other about their crimes; that's a lie. He is consorting with the dregs of humanity, right where he belongs.

She did a great job, especially considering he’ll never admit the truth. He believes he might possibly get out of there, i think. Obviously being honest is a way of confronting the wrongs weve done and moving forward a better person for it. You cant forgive yourself when youre still pretending you arent the monster that killed your wives. Ashley Banfield got about as close to a confession as anyone ever will with that little slip up. Drew Peterson could be let go again and if theres a woman out there foolish enough to marry this man, hed likely kill again…..and say she drowned in the bathtub, or commited suicide, or shes still alive out there somewhere. I think she could present him with a video of him killing his wife and he would be ready with an excuse or denial.

I lived in Naperville right next to Bolingbrook during all of his antics. He was a clown in front of cameras daily. He's a former undercover cop trained to lie because his life depended on it. The only thing that changed with him is he's an old and tired liar now and knows that no one is listening to him anymore. Most people don't enjoy seeing a police officer in jail unless he's guilty of doing something that puts him there. He got away with a lot throughout his life. So why not think that you should be able to do that forever.

I grew up in Aurora and my mom knew Stacy. My mom always came back and said Drew was charming. But always had this "dark cloud" around him. Couldnt put her finger on it. Then when Stacy went missing, she had an idea it could've been him. I was roughly around 19 and so I was always the one that was like hold up lets hear him out. But after a while and seeing how he was in front of cameras because I remember this being on TV left and right. I was always under the impression he did it. With him being a police officer, you know where to bury the bodies. Nonetheless great interview!!

I agree. Drew IS SCUM....but she came at the interview all wrong in my opinion. He's not gonna open up when you do that. At this point, we all know he's guilty. All that's to gain by this interview case study of a psychopath and they do recognize when being attacked--they shut down. Lost opportunity for those tuning in that are fascinated by psychology case studies. Interview was wrecked. He's a convicted man. He's knows that. If you interview him that should have been accepted as fact.

I like Ashleigh but this has to be the worst interview I have seen from her in a long time, she is putting words in his mouth instead of letting him have diarrhea of the mouth like we were all looking forward to hearing. But instead she is arguing with the interviewee.

Hey , Drew Peterson where is Rachel Melon ? You were the lead investigator on her case when she went missing right before you were let go from Bolingbrook PD? Did you help her stepfather in hiding her or did you make evidence disappear? That little girl needs justice. She lived in the next town over from me growing up .

@@GrannieLee Yes , my mom was friends with her mother. From day one the stepfather has always been suspicious. Rachel even wrote in her diary the uncomfortable things that were happening at home. To me I feel it's kind of suspicious that Drew Peterson was the lead investigator on this case then not long after Stacy went missing and he was being investigated into the death of his wife. Maybe one day justice will come for both Rachel and Stacy.

Ashleigh is a mix. She's focused, quick, and knows how to keep the conversation on point while interviewing. She's also arrogant/self righteous which clouds her insight when interviewing. She's asking tough questions which is great, but goes way beyond that, strongly inserting her own views. She goes scorched earth with her narrative, when the focus should be hearing what he has to say and deciding ourselves what to make of it.

The worst part is he became like a bit of a celebrity by a lot of people that were local to him. I was out in the Bolingbrook/Naperville before he was officially arrested but while the case against him was very public and people (mostly women) were going up to him and asking if they could have their picture taken with him and some guys were shaking his hand ….it was literally the weirdest/most disturbing thing I think I’ve ever seen and you could see the arrogance/cockiness of Drew and how he absolutely loved the attention. I guarantee he thought he was going to get away with it
