Fantastic episode Roman!! Thank you for the look at Sylvester Stallone's remarkable collection that is up for auction at Sotheby's. Sly was definitely on his game on his purchases, these were the best at the time of their purchase. Most of these watches will more than likely bring in more than expected, not only because of who owned them, but because of the horology they represent. The Patek Grandmaster Chime is top tier for sure. Thank you for such an outstanding episode. 😊

I loved the discussion about pocket watches. I really like pocket watches, to me they represent a kind of elegance that we don't see a whole lot of anymore. But I'm also in the place of simply not knowing much about them or knowing what a good pickup would be. That being said, if I had my pick from that collection, I'd be looking at the Bronzo first because for me Panerai and AP are my first loves.

Technical Market Question: Would the sealed Sylvester Patek be considered "New with box and papers" considering that the owner is known? I would assume the greatest long term investement value would be to win the auction and NOT open the 6300 plastic wrapper or wear it? Or does the "celebrity legacy" add more value to the watch such as the Steve Mcqueen Daytona did and go ahead and wear it?

Richarde Mille has had a very great vision for his brand, especially with the contemporary design and approach to complication and sophistication but to say the brand is responsible for the innovation is wrong; The Ferrari watch was an engineering master piece by a technical house, not Richarde Mille the brand.
