Amazing - on a par with the relocation of the temple of Abu Simbel. The danger to it now is the indoor climate since the desert preserved it so well for centuries. From what was mentioned, I think they have considered that when building the display space. I hope it will last for many centuries to come as a monument to the unparalleled culture of Ancient Egypt.

The United States has to learn from there history and its mistakes so that it may last as long and even longer that other nations. Safety for tourists. I would pay my entire life savings to go to Egypt. I've dreamed of going there since I was a little boy. I've been to Paris, Rome, Florence, and Vienna. But I'll probably never go to Egypt because it's not safe. Countries in the Middle East could make billions and billions of dollars off dumb tourists like me if, and only when, they can guarantee the safety of tourists.

Also, the US seems more dangerous if you look at the statistics between both countries. On Nationmaster country comparison: Murder rate in the US is 13 times higher than in Egypt. Assaults in the US 2622 times more than Egypt
