Ospreay was a heel when he first joined the Don Callis Family and it sucked. It's the equivalent of MJF & Swerve's face run. Ospreay is a natural Babyface because he's just a naturally likeable guy. He's like Rey Mysterio Jr where you really can't see him being a heel.

But THIS Ospreay is vastly different than that Ospreay. With far more Weekly TV show time and Promo training he's clearly way more comfortable with himself and it's allowing his character and details to shine through. And that proof is right here. He came across as very chill and antagonistic toward Ricochet but without the *Wink *Wink I'm just kidding. Coincidentally, Rey Mysterrio Jr was a great heel during the WCW days. Just like the Lucha Bros, Mexican Wrestler's type of swagger can work exceedingly well as a baby face and as a heel.

He is ok in this kind of promo but people still wont throw that out the window because sooner or later fans will only care about how you promo live in front of them, that had always been the case and it still is. I wish AEW could have given him more time and book him an acting lesson because that’s honestly the only missing piece for ricochet, the same with Andrade. They have cool move sets and could probably make a 5 star match but will never get fans excitement retained even with 100 backflips. (Just my opinion)
