MM's Music hasn't spoken as much to me since he released Eat Me/Drink Me. Once his lyrics became more about his personal life, and less about telling a story via a concept, it gives me completely different vibes. I saw him perform for the first time in February 2015, and it was him sweating, barely able to move properly, while singing his greatest hits like karaoke.

No I agree 100% I've been a fan since 1996 and watched this happen, I think Holywood was the last great, classic manson album, Grotesque was the moment we all noticed something lacking, but it was still OK, then the 'band' ended, Least We Forget was a farewell album, and it became 'Marilyn Manson' the person after that, and when Eat Me/Drink Me was released we were all in shock at how weak it was in comparison to the old stuff, it's never been the same since

I tuned in to manson a little late in the game, somewhere around 1997-8. Some of those earlier albums grabbed me right away. The past few grew on me and I think they are very strong musically. Pale Emperor is enjoyable from the first to last track. I look forward to a new Manson album basically because NOBODY makes music like this...now or back then. I am cool with creativity or back to the "Antichrist Superstar" type feel
