They look "built" and "bigger" in the videos of the attack primarily for two reasons: 1) They were all wearing backpacks and chest pouches, making them appear bigger, and when coupled with the camouflage sweaters it creates the resemblance of a paramilitary force. Further we know they all had taken the "Chemical Courage" drug prior to the attack, allowing them to methodically kill without mercy and fear. and, 2) In the videos they appear in isolation from the crowds of victims, creating a gap between them, while moving in unison, making them stand out greatly. ... All of this creates the illusion of well-built, strong and tall men as described by this theory circulating on the internet. But upon closer look and with the outfits out of the equation, and taking into account the other things mentioned, they look like average men. At many angles it's even easy to see, based on body type and head shape, that the terrorist in white jeans for example can certainly be identified as Muhammadsobir Fayzov. I don't blame the mother for her grief.

Those people were apprehended shortly after the terror attack. Not during the fact. Therefore the police cannot be sure that they are guilty, unless they did an investigation. Had the police enough time to: - review all the camera footages? - interview the victims and witnesses? - gather all evidence? - identify the suspects? - locate hiding or fleeing criminals? - arrest armed and dangerous criminals? For all I know, those people may have been picked up randomly on the streets because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, they had the wrong skin colour, and Russian police officials had to quickly deliver suspects. Basic critical thinking. I just don't know.

So they tried to quickly flee to Belarus and take a flight to Tajikistan or a location in the region and then lay low at home. If Ru authorities didn't catch up with them just barely in time it could have worked. The Belarus border wasn't that far away anymore when they were caught and transmitting info between countries can take a couple of hours until everyone is up to date. By that time they could have already arrived at their destination. If they had placed another car in a quiet place outside Moscow and changed cars without anyone noticing and where there is no CCTV, they would have probably made it. It would have added another 20 minutes or so and required additional preparations, but that was likely the key oversight in their escape plan, to not switch cars.
