Im 45 and remember growing up in Puerto Rico during the birth of Reggeaton. Went to all the Festivals of each town (Fiestas Patronales), Beach parties, House parties you name it. Seeing the people you grew up with up close and personal for free might I add, and bond with, to than see them many years later be world wide and achieving so much makes one feel proud inside. from where they are from, have been and gone thru in life. Hard to explain. I too was born outside of PR but raised there since i was 10 yrs old. I too always felt at times like I was not neither from here nor there. That made me leave and seek my path. Nicky is one artist I who I looked to for inspiration knowing I see a lot of myself in him. Boricua hasta en la Luna! Orgulloso de ti brother.

It’s insane to realize how generational trauma is being recognized in these times, now people are more aware of therapy, meditation and all the tools… social media has been a big part of it where humans can share their experiences and feelings and feel connected and heal 🩷 I think nowadays there so much anxiety, depression, ptsd because newer generations are facing all of hardships and issues that impacted us when were children. I believe we’re breaking the cycle and stopping generation trauma ,creating better ways to cope with stress and just circumstances that life brings,which older generations did not know better. As a society I believe we are improving, we are seeking therapy, Exercising, talking and doing things to help us. Hopefully all these mental illnesses are lessened with the newer generations 🙏🏼👏🏽
@emazecevic4 ай бұрын
you said it so well! our generation will definitely work things out thru therapy and educating themselves as they should.maybe we didn't deserve things that happened to us but improving and realising that we can change not only for us but for next generation to come is more than possible.

It's totally okay to not be interested in drinking alcohol! Your friends should respect your decision. You can always suggest alternative activities or simply let them know that you prefer not to drink. Your true friends will understand and support your choices.Sure thing! When it comes to friends pressuring you to drink, it's important to stand your ground and communicate your boundaries. It's great that you know what you're comfortable with and are sticking to it. If they continue to pressure you, it might be worth having a heart-to-heart conversation with them about respecting your choices. It's all about mutual respect and understanding.

Nikki I am poor and I feel lonely, I don’t have anyone to talk to that wants to sit and listen. A big reason why you opened up so well to Jay. Being lonely is something that has to do with your self. Being comfortable and happy by your self. Just like you said, at the end it’s only us not the Ferrari or the big house. Today I was just analyzing how many times I died and was born again, and I can hear how many times you have also had to go thru that feeling. I’m glad you remind us how real eveyone still is with money or without. Much love 🫶🏻

Jay Shetty, sin falta de respeto. Las dos entrevistas de Nicky Jam el Artista en su canal y Lewis Howes muy buen hechos. Mi corazon y alma me dice que el suyo llego mas con intention y facilidad. Nicky Jam was comfortable with you & the interview was beyond excellent. I believe yours was first. I am Latina huge Nicky Jam fan. This interview is going to go VIRAL and worldwide. J. Shetty you bring a spiritual environment. Gracias

Please bring Daddy Yankee on your show I love this seeing Nicky opening up about mental health and it showing me we can open up about our feelings

He would benefit from mental health treatment (MHT), after everything he’s being through. Reconnecting with our true selves & not feeling like we need addictions anymore is not easy, even without trauma. Incredible how even these artists with lots of money can’t or won’t find good quality MHT. He says “that’s just me” to explain so many things that thousands of people also experience, most of them related to trauma. I’m glad he’s demonstrating how screwed up it is for society to admire people for how much fame & money they have, instead of valuing persons by their true virtues such as wisdom, serenity, compassion & mental balance.

I can relate with Nicky on so many different levels. If we were to have a conversation I'm pretty sure we would both be very surprised on how our lives are filled with the same type of intense feelings. I really hope God protects and guides him. He has a huge heart and we need more people like him. Famous or not, doesn't matter.
