21:57 I didn't discover that you could do that many stylish commands with the hammer until about a year ago lol. I've played this since maybe a few months to a couple years after release. I'm 26 now. I could do the basic double stylish, but not 4.

Game looks incredible but at the beginning of every battle there is an animation where the stage is being setup although cool it will get annoying very quick specially in intense battle levels, can we skip it?

I don’t think it would be skippable anyway it’s only a couple of seconds long. I’m sure will be able to handle it although that might hurt speed running records a little bit.

Me personally I dont like the new music too much, the sound effects are kinda nice though. I am defineltly going to be using that new Gamecube Badge that reverts it to the OG tracks , not sure if it takes out the sound effects with it though i dont mind those, I just dont like the music like petalburg and rougeport and sewers.

So they finally changed their minds from Cricket to Frog. which is hilarious when I played the demo version on the gamecube, it was going to be Frog, until they changed it. I'm starting to like the Remake a lot better now. going to be real. When I heard the sound effect on Gamecube, it sounded nothing like a Cricket.

Something that has me a little concerned watching the battle footage is that it seems like you have to wait for your star points to add up before you’re able to choose a move, which is kind of really bothering me. I’ve been watching more gameplay footage and from what I can tell, this only happens after a first strike, like you see in this vid, and when you and your partners turn ends. Which is so bizarre. Like, if Mario attacks, and then it’s Goombellas turn, you don’t have to wait this long. But after Goombella finishes HER attack, then you have to wait this long again. That seems like such an oversight.

I see what you are talking about, that star points animation needs to be sped up, after your partners turn ends you have to watch the meter before the enemies attack , too much delay IMO.

Its weird because after mario attacks, it goes right to your partner even while your star points are filling up, why couldn't they make it like that when the turns end before the enemies attack too? Makes no sense to have that long animation just to wait for the enemy to attack right after it.

I think it was done so the effect doesn't get in the way of guarding and whatnot (hence it only happens at the end of your turn) since it would occasionally get in the way in the original, though it'd probably be better to just adjust the effect rather than have an awkward wait time

Things started going downhill after super paper. Mario don’t get me wrong. That game was great on its own but sticker star color, splash, and origami king. Don’t even compare to what we originally had with the first three.
