I know the dad is so broken..but so would the mum be yet dad is doing all the talking 12.30 mins in..as though he's the only one hurting. Wife sitting right beside holding his arm but he speaks: 'I', 'me' & 'my' rather than we..rather that 'we' & 'our'. And he speaks over her as though what she has to say isn't as important as him. He's so full of pride about his son that it's become all about him. I know it's a good thing to love our children..but his wife should be included as one with him.

@yvonnerahui8729Ай бұрын
@@kellyfitzgerald2035 ..I know and I'm only going g by what I see. It still should be we & our..I'm just discerning by what I hear & see that it's like it was just his son..AND maybe it was. He could have arrived after the son was born?? Anyway..we are allowed to judge things it not to make a judgement call-only God can do that! I had a baby sister who died & without saying too much..I experienced such treatment..it felt like she belonged to just One..& my grief was never acknowledged(well all of my sisters could agree) .could never be expressed with parents nor ever go in her room..never get to have a sit in it..lay my head where she'd laid her head nor even did I feel fred to take an item of clothing although her & I had often swapped clothes. We had been so very close..right from young she was with my husband & I. Anyway..I didn't mean to sound harsh about this man & felt some might get upset by what I said. For once I just wanted to say what I began thinking half way through.
@yvonnerahui8729Ай бұрын
@@kellyfitzgerald2035..and yes he is grieving hugely..and I understand it..maybe it's the first opportunity he's had to pour out about the loss of his very much loved son. Ps-I lost my youngest 5th sister of 32 years very tragically at her own hands in 2000. We'd been very close from a young age & spent much time together..its a long story..but out of it all..one parent could not acknowledge we all were grieving her loss..it was about that person only & I was even accused of stuff that wasn't true..& to this day there has never been a sharing of my sisters life wuth any if us sisters. I couldn't even go into her room & sit or lay my head where she slept nor look at her clothes that her & I often shared. Too much jealousy & maybe guilt..which even we all had. Her death was at her own hand so of course we all acknowledge what we could of should have been/done. My last time with her ended in me trying abit of tough love..that was my guilt a long time. I know now what she was plagued by but never did let her talk about it as never got to see her again..she was gone 3 wks later. There was so much else going on with her life at the time too..& me with 4 children, this time, SADLY I didn't go to check in on her..this my huge regret. The next I saw her was after a fateful call from a neighbour & we rush to her to now find her lifeless body laying in the garage with police present..her slip on heeled shoes neatly parked under a little table, a Bible open on it & an empty wine glass beside it. Her home life wasn't the best situation for her to still be in..this beautiful girl. I understand it's a different grief a parents loss is but I'll never understand such selfishness in these times. It ends up sounding like only they had a closeness that no one else could know. And I've had to listen & bite my tongue because..how could I ever know. And best to hold to yourself anyway..it starts sounding like a competition otherwise..I've heard it. I was 16 yrs older..& when I married at 21 we had her & next sister up often with us which was lovely tines..Her right throughout as 3 sisters end up moving to neighbouring country..while one other sister here was living her life & our parents were home stewing & arguing about the same things that I was hearing as young. So I suppose I was hearing this father speaking the same..I felt for his wife. Thats how I saw & heard it most of the interview. I believe according to God's word that we can judge to see if a thing is so..as in discerning, but not to bring a judgment on any. If it sounded like thats what I did..then I am guilty & apologize.
