This situation is deep. I was raised by my grandmother and believe you me...the pain of being rejected by your biological parent is a pain that cuts deep. In 2009 I searched and met my parents and mmmm what I can say is that I wish I had never done that. Because what I experienced after that is worse than when I didn't know them. Even now I'm with my kids and husband...my parents have other kids who hates me and my brother and there's no contact whatsoever towards me and my parents. Not because I don't want to...but the love if it's not there...there's nothing that any child can do. What helped my anger and bitterness is God. And church was my safe place. If it was not for that I could've been a mess by now because I know what that pain does to a child. Parents one day will answer to God for not playing their part in their kids life.

I have so much compassion even for those sleeping under the bridge. My brother on the other hand...I'm always praying for him...he's a very bright guy, talented, very polite and everything, he had a good job but he ended up smoking nyaope but he doesn't steal, kill or rape...instead he has a car wash for taxi drivers and uses that money to buy nyaope...this year he really wants to change his life. We're organizing a rehab for him so that he can be a better person. It has not been easy for him but we love each other and nyani I believe he will come out of this stronger.

south african mothers are worst they leave their kids with neighbours,grandmothers or even strangers and they go and leave in urban areas and start new lives drinking parting and even re marrying and they wont turn back everytime i watch khumbulekhaya my heart melts i then ask myself why get pregnant when you not ready to be a mother and their kids resort to drugs and crime due to pressures of life.
