Great debate! Pleasure watching the most eloquent Mr Tharoor and a very pragmatic Mr Sahasrabuddhe. To my mind Congress certainly used the Muslim minority as a vote bank never really bothering about the real upliftment of the community. This favouritism and political correctness did accept a lot of wrongs towards the Hindu community. While the regular struggle of life had a large majority of Hindus focus to survival there always remained a tiny faction that remained discontented. Its that faction that the other side of the political spectrum that has started catering to and hence the whole chaos today. A balance in the most diverse society of India and a harmonious co existence is not in the interest of any political party.
