I agree. Not sure why it gets so much hate. Generally base sets do good over time and everyone is passing it up right now, so picking up a couple booster boxes is a good play. I don't mind the set actually.

I ended up buying 8 boxes. I bought the first box and it had 2 evolving skies packs. I went back and kept buying boxes until they didn’t hit on evolving skies. 7 boxes with 2 evolving skies each and the last box did not lol

Does judging a product based on the hits that you get make sense at all? Considering it's all luck in the end right? lol. I do agree I wish the pack selection was better but its still a good deal if anyone is collecting those packs to try and complete sets and so on.

No it's numbers like anything else. . When you know how many cards are printed and we know the actual pull rates. It becomes about numbers opened. So keeping track makes sense.
