Just tried the 7.5, mix of sporting, simulated game, rabbits etc. Had a box of my usual 28g as well. No recoil, but other than that hard to tell the difference. Broke everything the 28's did. Tried long set of high driven and broke every clay. Impressed.

Oh great! That’s probably more down to your shooting! Well done and thanks for the feedback

@@StrictlyShootingUK My pleasure. Forgot to mention, whilst they cycled the gun fine, they do not eject well. 28's fly out of the ejectors, these just pootle.

I shoot as much steel as I can , been waiting on a reasonably priced clay load with a biowad for practicing.

@@StrictlyShootingUK in my beretta at Blyton, we hit some clays a lot further away than expected! In my old W&S model 400, there was little difference between them and my trusty Hull CompX

16g of shot! Cartridge technology has come on at an incredible rate. I remember the original trap load was 32g😳

I know isn’t it exciting?

I wish I'd had these 16g loads back then, I'd probably have more of my own teeth🤣🤣

Yea , 32 gram of lead will outperform these without a shadow of a doubt 😂😂

@@manofkentcatapultsgunsando5069yea, except for the fact that very shortly we won’t be shooting lead at all.

@@grahamedwards9920 you wont maybe but I will be , I have an unlimited amount of shot and I home load everything from .410 to 10 bore , as for the lead ban I couldent give a shit

I didn't know Doveridge clay ground allowed Steel shot. I have used 24 gram steel 7.5 shot on rabbit clays and it just bounced off those. Normal clays smashed as would be expected. Might try these out of curiosity and will call in at Premier Guns when next passing.

Thank you but you are right, Doveridge does NOT allow Steel Shot!

The most important video I’ve seen in ages and the audio is drowned out by gun fire 🤷♂️ BUT at last some light at the end of the tunnel in terms of innovation as regards alternatives to lead. Great stuff - more news as soon as possible please 🙏.

I did this 30 years ago my loader is aduastable the recipe was 18 half grain it kicked so i brought it back to 17 it kicked a bit but at 16 no kick smashed the clays a treat why companies dont make this as a standard double load then advance on that but thats to simple i whent for the other option 20 gauge shells for a double not much kick but a auto high volicity i mean no kick nothing
