@barrybigplums2 жыл бұрын
Sold all my other rods to cover the cost …. Will be sticking with the r8…. Mainly if you see me with a new rod it’s because I have sold other kit on eBay to cover the cost ….very happy with the r8 though

To be honest I thought you foul hooked that fish. Most fish sat there are exhausted. But that was fighting like a champ. When a fish is foul hooked they are hard to control.
@barrybigplums2 жыл бұрын
Defo wasn’t foul hooked matey …. I saw his mouth close around the fly and when I removed the stalking bug it was inside his mouth…… I think july has been particular harsh to the waters I visited on my break. This particular day the only chance I had was to provoke an aggressive response from them …. Tried everything else with no luck

@@barrybigplums If we go back four or so years, summer hatches was good. last summer was a wash. Its hard to believe it could get worse. But it has. Things are on the change and it does not look good.
@barrybigplums2 жыл бұрын
@@shaunfishes101 I think if summers continue to be hard on the sport we could start to see some venues close for a month or two during the worst part of the year …. The only places that you can still catch are venues which get stocked every day and are busy as the new fish are not in the water for more than a day before being taken out

@@barrybigplums What we are doing at Hayscastle, is removing the c/r. And anybody that fishes has to dispatch all fish. And for a lot of the time you could spend hours trying to catch a fish in this heat wave. But this will only be enforced if it gets really bad. at the moment the water temp is really good. And the fish are in good health. Mind there is not many waters that are as lucky. We get a lot of Atlantic breeze.
