Interesting. The most important management skill is the ability to help people succeed and achieve their best - as suggested. This is primarily achieved through an understanding of human behaviour in general and at work. People do not always behave the same at work as they do outside of it. One of the most signficant influences on work place behaviour is organisational culture and its many expections including the behaviour of staff and managers. For a manager a primary pre-requisite to the successful management of people is the establishment and maintenance of a positive working environment to aid the promotion of success.

Leadership mindset allows people to share their ideas..this type of leadership is called democratic leadership style... being involved in activities at work place is very exciting. Because you feel welcome and enthusiastic to work as a team. I want to be authentic, confidential and inspiring leader.❤❤ where ever God leads me.

For any managers or leaders, you need to have both good technical skills and people skills in order to do your job effectively. Technical skills are job focused or task specific, and they are generally what you build up through your education, your training or on the job experience. People skills are human skills that you need to manage people in the team to interact with them and to encourage them to perform at their highest level. Let master these 7 people skills to become great leader. 1. Use reflective listening 2. Assert yourself 3. Manage different performance levels 4. Encourage people to share ideas 5. Fuel people’s strengths to motivate them 6. Navigate rivalry and competition 7. Manage your inner confidence

My employers can't understand why I have absolutely zero interest in being promoted to a management /leadership role. I'm totally happy in my current position and simply see no reason to change roles. I've told my employer that if they try to promote me I'll leave and work for their competitors who've already told me they will employ me anytime and my employer knows this. Life is good...
@sylviaschaffner25518 ай бұрын
I ve used reflective listening and the coworkers thought I was a bit daft and re explained themselves. It was very weird.
@sylviaschaffner25517 ай бұрын
In hindsight it probably looked like I was more asking for an explanation than reflective listening. I m working on my assertive communication

How many levels of people has Kara actually managed or coached. Nice fundamentals until the real world shows up. Umm just read how to win friends and influence people. I have conducted over 2.5M 360 assessments. Yes directness in a nice way is best. As a leader hire slow, fire fast, and quit cherry picking your own tasks. coach and mentor others that have better knowledge skills and experiences than you do. Just ask people what are their passion skills and what opportunities there are in the organization to make that happen. Do this weekly and you will know. Kara you are full of BS and haven’t actually dealt with the real world. Sad.
