You Nailed it. You served actually what need to for the managerial skills. Becoming A Leader and acting on Self Whim is not Leadership that's failed selection of as a Leader. You gave True insight of this Topic. When we work in the Unified work Culture that has other participants to act as one Team to achieve companies vision and Goals, you need to be more Vocal and active contributor , if the other people Grow, eventually you Grow and This very thought should be at the center of anything what we don in the Corporate world. Very Inspiring, Also wish me Good Luck, I am Going to Start my Own Channel , at my Exact 50! Bless me also.

Interesting video. Good human skills are the most important attribute of an effective manager. This includes the use of soft skills to help your team (people aka human beings) succeed and acheive their best in support of improved organisational outcomes. It may be further supported through an appreciation of human behaviour in general and (more specifically) human behaviour at work.

Management competency requires time in the trenches. You can have all the intellectual tools, but learning how to motivate a team is crucial. Second, treat people like people. They are not just numbers, bodies, and chess pieces you can move about. Developing listening and decision skills requires getting your hands dirty. Sometimes you have to weed out certain distractions to your team. Last but not least, support and protect your team. Get them the resources they need to be successful. Celebrate their accomplishment. Reward them for doing a great job. Communicate their successes to upper management. Throw out any book written by ex CEOs of General Electric!
