@rainbowandlove The movie was called Let Him Have it. Christopher Eccleston played a chap called Derek Bentley, wrongly convicted for the murder of a policeman in 1955. His accomplice Christopher Craig shot the policeman, but at only 16 years old was also convinced of murder and jailed. Whilst at 19 years of age, Derek Bentley who had the mental age of an 8 year old was convicted and hung. He was believed to have been hung because he shouted the words Let Him Have It Chris. Nobody knows if he meant give him the policeman the gun or shoot him, and Derek, because of his mental capacity couldn’t understand, what they meant. So he confessed.
