Thank you Word History very much for the title and proper description of Franz Kutchera. He was German Nazi murderer behind the desk. And he was one of very numerous citizens of Austria that became war criminals during WW2.

The underground operatives’ pseudonyms were „Lot” and „Cichy”, not „Lota” and „Cichego”. In Polish there is something called the conjugation of names by cases, and that’s why people who don’t speak the language write them in the wrong way.

Compared to the attempt on Heydrich's life, the attempt on Kutschera's was highly professional. In Prague, everything that could have gone wrong failed, the assassins, the weapons and the entire plan failed. Heydrich died of an infection that could not be cured because the Germans did not have antibiotics. Meanwhile, in Warsaw, everything was done professionally; from reconnaissance, planning to execution. Kutschera's identity and function were secret, classified and hidden from the public, no one knew who his true identity and function. He was always accompanied by bodyguards. Heydrich was widely known, he drove an open convertible (and even walked) around Prague without protection. This alone shows the dramatic difference in the difficulty of performing both assassinations.

Excellent video, but I wonder about the title,. Shouldn't he be described as Austrian instead of German?
