Exercise Vigilant Isles 22 | British Army

Members of 1st Regiment Royal Horse Artillery were on Exercise Vigilant Isles 22 in Japan alongside the Japan Ground Self Defence Force (JGSDF).
The exercise is helping to build a stronger relationship with our Japanese allies.

I'm American but I highly admire the British armed forces and I'm fascinated by the military history of the uk. It's crazy to think that such a small island controlled two thirds of the world at one point. I love James bond by the way!

As some one that has family in the uk 🇬🇧 army and navy and mod I couldn’t be more proud of are troops I’ve always wanted to join up but I sadly don’t think I have I the gcse to join I work as a full time chef 👨‍🍳 and have always wanted to be a soldier so from the bottom of my heart ♥️ I appreciate all your hard work lads you go above and beyond! We’ll get onto the army website and apply for full time or reserve and just speak to your recruiter about it when you go and see them, you might be fine dude, as army selection is 3 days (mainly 2) but the worse bit about that is the medical, that can take hours anyways with everyone there, but I’d say give it a go dude it might surprise you
