Germany makes much farther strides in operation Barbarossa without American lend/lease to Russia and the UK is starved out by the battle of the Atlantic without our merchant marines, thousands of American men dead to save your country. Using what is basically an armoured truck to move infantry is almost criminal. It worked for route clearance, route protection and movement in Afgan as an IOR. Politicians again not providing adequate funding will again kill British troops if they are committed to fight, so much for learning lessons of Snach, Saxon & Saracen to name just the most obvious! Wheels never mix well with MBTs either, rather basic!

NATO? Each nation requires its own ammunition, food, and clothing and equipment. I can understand the clothing and equipment part, and maybe the ammunition up to a point. However, the food? Anyone else see the problem?

UK has good military but its too small. Quality>Quantity but if you have only quality it wont work. I dont see a point in having own tanks when nobody is buying them. That means that you build 400 tanks and the production line is closed after that. You not gonna win a real war with 225 tanks. Its not good but its ok to have 225 tanks IF you are able to restart the production very quickly but that isnt case with Challenger2. I think that UK should switch to some different tank. For example modified Leo2 that would be produced in UK under licence and on the same line normal Leo 2 could be build, that would mean that after finishing production of Leos for uk the production line could be still used.
