Welcome to our 5th month of Building a Foundation. Today I give you 6 exercises to improve your port de bras and upper back muscles. Arms are a key part of ballet, so I hope these exercises help you! Just pace yourself! You will need 1 to 5 pound weights.

Hi I'm Kathryn!
I am a former soloist with the New York City Ballet and Miami City Ballet. When I was a young student, I was always looking for insights into the ballet world and how to improve my dancing as well as beauty and lifestyle tips. Now that I am a professional, it is my turn to share.
On my channel I make ballet, beauty, and lifestyle videos for everyone of all ages. My goal is help dancers improve and achieve their dreams as well as open up the ballet world to non dancers. Katie these workout videos of yours are truly a goldmine. I’m doing them since years, even the very old ones, and it’s helping me so much with my dancing, I don’t know where I would be without them (40+ club 🙋‍♀️). So I’m curious, is there more coming in the Building a foundation series or was that it? I’m looking forward to seeing more from you, always so happy when you drop a new video 💕🩰
