Q&A Why are my Hamstrings always the most sore after doing leg exercises. They are severely limiting the amount of volume I can do.
@natashagz16162 күн бұрын
Q&A: Would a natural trainer benefit more from hitting quads and hammies for both leg days ? Or split it up quad day and glute and hamstring day? How would you equate for volume especially when it comes to quad training ?

How can you work your TVA directly to help posture and core strength? How does this relate to anterior pelvic tilt and gut extension? How can this help to control the core and midsection during posing and during exercise?

Thank you, Joe. Can you please comment on ab training in general for bodybuilding purposes? That is, as an aspiring bodybuilder, do I even want ab hypertrophy? Aesthetically, I don't want "big" abs so much as I want them visible and detailed, which I think depends more on diet than anything else. Thanks again.

when you are at a reasonable bodyfat% does it look like your abs will look as muscular as youd like when you are lean?
@Giuvannuzzeddu2 күн бұрын
@@justasquatspecialist Well, yes, relatively speaking. They don't look like an Olympian's, but they're evident.
@Schmandgrab2 сағат бұрын
Just my 2 cents: if you train a muscle,it gets bigger. You obviously don't want that as a body builder. Focus on really contacting your ab during the lifts. Train abs once per week during a cut, not during bulking, don't train your obliques.
@Schmandgrab2 сағат бұрын
Just a starting point, depends on how advanced you are as a body builder, are you still focusing on filling out the frame or working more nuanced on details. But i would always be careful with the mid section,cause a small waist is the "easiest" part to make you look aesthetic.

I just came from the gym after doing leg raises!

Are there any lengthened biased exercises that are more of a reverse-crunch motion (similar to the hanging leg raise)? The only one I can think of is the dragon flag.
@pretty_flaco2 күн бұрын
man the algorithm is nuts… a lot of hanging knees/leg raises have been popping up lately

Joe, I'm forever thankful to you for showing me the abmat crunch movement. I have been doing nothing but abmat crunches for abs for 1,5 years now and I finally have big ninja turtle abs! It really works the whole abs maximally. Even my lower abs are big and blocky now. Thank you!

it would be nice to see you perform all the diffrent varriations of the leg raise in the gym while you're explaining it on the board to get a more clear vision of the diffrences that it offers, liked the video tho
