Although the Vibrants made a difference in a good way, I still would have removed the chambered Flowmaster and either put Magnaflow MagnaPack or just the regular Magnaflow Mufflers.

The problem isn't the lack of Resonators. It's because: 1. Flowmaster and 2. He did a Valve Delete. I get a small amount of drone on my Scat Pack when I'm in Track Mode with the Valves fully opened (Running Carven R's). Add in Flowmasters which are notorious for drone to begin with, and you'll be unhappy on the highway. If you're running an aftermarket X-Pipe, Headers, etc. you need to keep them valves in place.

Running any chambered muffler is kind of a no go for me. Plus over 500 HP you'll want straight through.

@@cymbalenthusiast3265 Yep. I can't stand chambered mufflers, and especially Flowmaster. This owner would do himself a favor by cutting those off. In 25+ years, I've yet to ride in any car that had Flowmasters installed that didn't drone.

@Ryan-ds2wx real, my Black Widow Neighborhaters drone but not as bad as any "Flow" Master. Plus, I got resonators to help. The next mufflers I'll go with is going to be Corsa Extremes. I just didn't want to spend $700 on mufflers unless I was gonna do full equal length.

LMMFAO! The stock exhaust sounded better than that quiet ass weak Slowmaster!! He needs to get some Mickey Thompsons for the rear tires because them skinny tires in the rear ain't gonna cut it! I have the same procharger setup on my Challenger Scat Pack and kooks long tube headers except I have Borla Atak exhaust and they're the best exhaust in the business, overall nice looking Challenger!

I think I’d remove those Flowmaster mufflers, and put something better quality on it. Magnaflow or Corsa. Better sound and no drone.

@@Falco_e46 I have no experience with the 50 series. I do have experience with Flowmaster. And because of that I am not a fan of their products. I have had two on two separate HEMI’s. previously. A 2004, and a 2013. The drone was intolerable and it sounded metallic and horrible in tone. I did my best to like it, and thought it would grow on me. I gave up after a few months on both and had them cut off and replaced.

I’ve had both flow master super 10s mufflers & a full 3in Magnaflow catback for my srt8. Both have horrific drone…even after spending 1200 for the mag catback. Buddy of mine has a hellcat charger and all he did was a mid muffler delete….it has absolutely no drone

I had flowmasters they are known for the drone. I have roush catback and h pipe on a different car and it’s much louder and no drone

If he wants to get rid of the drone, he needs to swap the Flows out for something that isn't chambered. That's how chambered mufflers work, it's a tuned drone. Put some 18" Magnaflows and keep the Ultra Quiets and it'll be stealthy and still sound good on throttle. It's not BAD, but I can hear it still droning around 1.8k RPM.

I would not doubt that his exhaust system is reducing some power. Really needs a new full exhaust system. Borla Atak or Corsa Extreme. He could even get the Borla S-Type or Corsa Sport a try if he does not want it too loud.
