Heck yeah! Forget the X-pipe. True duals make the real muscle car sound, and are the way to go! -- If you really think the true dual loses power over an X, you're crazy. It's a 5-10hp difference. You can race against someone that has 50 fewer horsepower, and if you miss a shift, you're still gonna lose. -- True dual is easier to work on. You gotta pull the exhaust if you're gonna mess with the transmission/clutch. If the exhaust is all one big assembly, it's a knuckle-buster of a setup. You only get the truck sound if you have cast iron exhaust manifolds. -- Xpipes give you the nascar sound only if you have longtubes.

@leopapio6832 жыл бұрын
The factory setup is just as good, I'd keep the Xpipe the scavenging effect actually increases the rate of which the gasses are sent out the tail pipe. Headers won't really make your car louder, catless midpipes is better and that's not even necessary unless your trying to push over 900whp headers alone will run you about $2500 not including I stall and you won't increase sound and actually decrease a little bit of the torque. Mid muffler delete is best bang for your buck but I'd highly recommend a flow through resonater if your going to go straight pipe, it literally will sound like garbage, because think about it 2 straight pipes from the headers back is literally 2 4 cylinders firing off at the same time lol If you really just want it loud without rattling your interior I'd say catless midpipes and if you want it louder mid muffler delete all that can be done for about $500

Oh.......hell no. This is way too quiet, this car sounds no different than a stock 1992 Chevy Beretta, and that's a damn shame 🤨 Owner should have just run open manifolds, which is hands down the best setup and provides optimal back pressure and increased compression ratio to 25:1 on these 2020 Dodge "Challenger" Scat Pack 6.4L's.

Eh... Engine Masters did that test; X give you HP up top, H gives you low end torque...but the flow dynamics become straight piped once the CFMs are up. The crossover is right at the 5252rpm between the two. But what it comes down to is the room under your vehicle.

I’ll never understand doing an exhaust mod that’ll make you lose HP. X pipes almost always make more power and they sound better. They equalize exhaust pressure between cylinder banks. Why would anyone do this? I wish my truck had an x pip from the factory. Side note, that sounds awful. Like an old low compression truck engine. I don’t understand it

agreed, sounds like every other modern Hemi. Yeah it sounds sick, but after everyone you know who owns a Hemi Chally/Charger does it, quickly becomes annoying. Because no one does anything to the intake/cam/heads or headers. Just a saws-all to the pipes. None of them have OG muscle chop from the factory... it's just a fast idle tone.

@@FatBoi310 Its a remodeled Xpipe for the 2017+ RT Chargers, 2019+ RT Challengers, and 2019+ Scatpack Chargers. The 2018 and older 392s (Both Charger and Challenger), 2018 and older challenger RTs, 2016 and older charger RTs, and Every model hellcat keep the original xpipe, giving them that raspy, higher-pitched sound. As to why Dodge chose to remodel it, IDK, but in my opinion it gives it a unique sound and one that's grown on me very well. But that's what makes the newer scats and RTs sound like what everyone calls "fart machine". If you watch a few videos, when someone replaces the xpipe on a widebody scat, say corsa or carven, it loses that deep bass-y tone.
