Seeing them in concert is an amazing experience this is the best group of the 80's!

I love them. When they were first starting out , they would play the Horseshoe all the time . We got to be great friends with them all. They would stay at our house when they did . They would have dinner with us. It was great. But when they got Jimmy out of His group. I couldn’t believe they were the same friends. Jimmy started that band before any of three front men came along. It hurt Jimmy really bad. He didn’t live long afterwards. When I see Exile it’s with Jimmy!

In my not-so-humble opinion, I always thought J.P. Pennington’s voice resembled more of Michael McDonald’s (albeit a bit lower, timbre wise)...whereas Les Taylor’s voice resembled STRONGLY of Steve Winwood’s!!! This is 100% opinionated, but I believe it to be true!!! 😄😄😄

One funny thing is the medley is not included in Epic's greatest Hits album.

This is from the CMT station from the 80's. They probably made this video before it came out on the album. This is on the album called EXILE GREATEST HITS MEDLEY

Toward the end of their `80s heyday, some idiot record exec told them their songs all sound the same. You'd have to be a total idiot to believe that. Even the average non-musician listener wouldn't say that. They are all different tempos and beats. Any band or artist who has had success has an identifiable sound, otherwise, what's the point?
