Actually they use mixed techniques, the opera sound is caused when you open your mouth wide but close the vowels just a little bit while using the spaces of resonance in your head, when you work on your techniques you can switch between musical/pop and opera it's hard but so much fun

There's such a perfect transition between their voices in the choruses. You've got Anna's pure rock voice bleeding into Marina's gothic, onto Clementine's more melodic soprano and then ending with Amanda's operatic soprano. It all comes together into pure, unadulterated musical magic.

Clearly you don't know your metal, and don't insult these powerhouses by assuming they are "recruited girls". Amanda Somerville, Clémentine Delauney, and Marina La Torraca have been/are the front lead vocalists and faces for Avantasia, Epica, Archenemy, Kamelot, Phantom Elite, Visions of Atlantis, and Serenity. Anna Brunner is the only one you could consider "recruited" and she more than holds her own. Female-fronted metal is the future, and don't expose yourself as ignorant by dissing them as "party music".

I do not understand what some people are whining about. This is their first album. What the hell does it matter if it is all covers? Now if after this it is nothing but covers, then I understand. Just think of it as an intro album. Also the whining about the repeated music video, I had no idea it was about the video and not the music?????!!!! Not to mention again, what the hell does it matter? This band is pretty new. It does not matter if the singers are from other bands. This is a standalone band!

That should support all the more reason that people should stop whining though, they are doing all covers when they seem to clearly point out that they want to do covers for classical songs (if you count some of these as classic). A great example of why it does not matter. A band is not defined by their first album (I personally like at least half of their covered versions off of this album) whether being good or bad. I can't think of many bands if any where I liked the first album the most.

When I said "think of it like as an intro album", that was more or less a complete agreement to what you are saying about this album being a good way to let themselves be known. While I will not argue if they choose to be a cover band (because it is their choice), I do agree that it will inevitably become easily forgettable at least in the grand scheme of music history. I hope that they do not decide to become only a cover band, but in meantime with this album, I have no complaints.

Actually i think their voices suck. It sounds decent when they all join in the chorus apart from the dominating voice but each on their own they get my ears to bleed each of the voices in their own way

It amazes me how people forget that the singers, no mater how great they are, are not the only people in the production of the song, and that is without going into the back room editing staff. In many cases it is the entire band.

You need to look up these girls. And the guys doing thunderstruck in a bar somewhere because toward the end of the song, Amanda introduces all of the guys. Somebody recorded it on a cell phone. And the video kind of sucks a little bit. But you'll get it and I like it.
