Another great riddle! So much fun to solve and I loved the trap door mechanism. These rooms are just so detailed and fun to look at it’s almost half the fun!

This was such a cute riddle. Remember when we all had to hum the songs? This reminded me of that one 😅

It was pretty easy. I did remember the code from yesterday when I did it but a shortcut is to look at the symbols and put them into the decoder ring and flip it over to read the number.

I thought this day was hilarious when I solved the puzzle and discovered the next code was under the floor. I stumbled on the light blue too and guessed it was an r letter.

It's funny because I thought it was oddly specific to use the word 'parquet' in the story, but when I got to the clue I then understood why! :)

@@drgareth Lots to think of when localising these calendars! The original german version was 'Unter Parkett' so luckily 'under parquet' worked and didnt require too much fiddly problem solving! Some of them are much tricker to turn into English! Day 13 will knock your socks off !

@@thamesandkosmosgamesukI bet! I particularly look forward to day 13 then! :) And I think using 'parquet' worked really well for this puzzle because it nicely drew attention to the area that really did need specific attention paid to it. :)

Ah, yes - rather unfair for you then! It can be hard enough to distinguish some of the colours anyway, especially in dim lighting.

I messed up on that one letter and got the clue UNDERPARDUET. So I thought, “Aha! Par is 0 and a duet means 2! Now, what number does under mean?” Spent a loooong time struggling with that until looking up the solution and smacking myself on the forehead like Homer Simpson. 🤦

That was so unlucky to end up with three valid words! Glad you got there in the end though!
