The gorillas spent the day indoors because it was cold outside.
The male gorillas were quiet that day, but the female gorillas, Ai and Annie, were playing very energetically.
Ai and Annie are very close mother and daughter.
It was very interesting to see Annie dancing to Ai's chest-beating.

Shabani was born in the Appenheul Primate Park, Netherlands.
Nene was born wild in Cameroon.
The other three were born in the Higashiyama Zoo in Japan.

The way Annie waves her head around and really gets into it is the most adorable thing. Ai and Annie seem to be playing more lately. It makes me so happy to see such beautiful gorillas enjoying eachother❤❤❤

awesome to see different parts of the troop getting along and interacting positively. at the beginning you can see shabani expressing his happinness to see Ai and Annie playing together. as much as i know he loves annie i am sure he is happy to have a break from having to intervene between nene and annie. ai really gets epressive with her dancing annd her facial expressions - i love it - she id definitely the most understated of the group

Interesting how Shabani does not play and get as enthusiastic as the other gorillas. Mostly sits and observes. Guessing this is typical of most silverbacks since they are the protectors?

I think you’re watching other videos. Shabani is the most playful gorilla as he runs, walks in tightropes, takes rain baths, dances, spinning etc etc. for sure he isn’t doing that on very videos but if goggle shabani spinning, dances you will see lots of times he’s playing….. Shabani besides being beautiful, he’s very unique! Check it out.

Why don't these animals have their own Natural habitat, not all hard concrete ugly cold hard buildings, they need people who know what animals need to operate these animal habitats. ❤❤

It’s scary that it’s a wink away from the time black people were on the same level as these guys. We were bred , housed and valued less than an expensive piece of furniture. We look at thes creatures but are we too underestimating them and their needs?

😠What's so entertaining about watching two animals locked up in a cage,minding their business.? Probably homesick missing their habitat and having to be watched by different types of humans? How would you feel if that was you in there? Think of the movie "planet of the apes"? How would you like it if it was the other way around? Are you still feeling amused by seeing them intelligent animals not free in the wild where they're supposed to be? Doesn't it break your 🥺💔heart? Or are you one of them? Put yourself in their position? That's why I don't visit the zoos? 🙏😌🙏God bless these animals and hope one day they'll be set free, Before it's too late or maybe it already is..and they've forgotten where they really came from? I'm sorry but I believe in freedom if you're innocent? God bless everyone and peace ✌️ 🙏 AMEN
