The Exmoor Coaster is worth a punt, and it's a very scenic journey all for £2 one way. We found Ilfracombe a lot better than Combe Martin which can get overcrowded and has a lot of empty shop premises for a small village. They're gradually painting all the holiday homes in Barbie hot pink, or red. You were lucky to get a quiet top deck on this day. If you sit on the right on the top deck you'll avoid the trees they've not cut back between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin.

I live in Lynton and use this service all of the time. I've probably been on there 15 times this year. It never gets dull, wind, rain or shine. Highly recommended.
