It is your personal choice if you want to watch porn or not, But what we as human in modern society agree is it is not your business to tell us how to live our lives according to your religious believes, So if you have hard time understanding what is your business and what is not your business then you should go back where they live their lives according to sharia law and you can fit in that society just fine and continue their barbaric practices and try to dominate the world by killing people who dont agree with you and rape captive woman and make bastard child who would think just like you. Thats how Islam always been and will be.

I have had the pleasure of being friends with several Muslims. They have been kind, generous and loving as long as you do not differ with them on their religious beliefs. They are just mental slaves, lacking the guts to question the inconsistencies and atrocities in Islam. Islam enslaves the human rationale. My heart goes out to you. I want anyone who has romantic notions about marrying Muslim men to be careful because Stepahnie's experience is more a rule than and exception. All the best wishes to you Stephanie.
@abdelhamza2296 жыл бұрын
B Sridhat All what those mental slaves want is to be free to be in this world. The right you are willing from your bottom heart to deny to them. Fundamentalism begins when people think they have got the truth under their sleeves , so how can you be sure you have become like those mental slaves? A slave of some sort of ambiguous truth about how man is the only god known in this earth. His power of thinking among all other creatures as to alter his surrounding nature is a mere coincidence that cannot make him responsible in front of The One who made him so different and so unique.
@rational06 жыл бұрын
@Abdul Hamza No you are wrong. Mental slaves are not free. They are not even wanting freedom for themselves, and not for others (non muslims/infidels) either. No one is talking of men being gods. You assume too much. And you assume there is god and then go on and on about his "powers" and how he made man blah blah. Let go of your vain pride and ego and realize theat neither you nor species of man is that special or 'unique' (ants are just as unique, so are hydra or dogs or amoebae...all effect the universe and change the their environment [positively and negatively]) . So your "he" does not exist, never did, never could, and his powers are NA (not applicable) . Now be secure in this knowledge, as you seem to know not, and believe wrongly in allah. Be a moral good human and do not transgress on others, do not violate other's rights of mental autonomy, independence of thought and opinion, free speech , right of passage, right to dress attractively or sexy, and right to free information... Say no to hijab (modesty culture) , work with good civilized people to ban cruel halal slaughter, work hard to abolish islam that is fundamentalist and a death cult (has death for apostasy and blasphemy, has too much absurd superstitions, is very harmful and pernicious on so many ways to humans mostly bad for muslims) And relevant to the post- women are often incited and entrapped by muslim men so they can convert them as converting non muslims gets them credits with allah as per islam. That is part of jihad and conversion by deceit , taking advantage of women and spreading by attacking the womb, not by convincing / logics. So rightly all non muslim women should insist now that any muslim man should leave islam to prove his love for her.
@abdelhamza2296 жыл бұрын
Rational Dude: First of all I was talking about Muslims right to exist in this world , not about their freedom. Freedom is an ambiguous word people use to express a fictf sensation , for no one in this world is really free, even those in power. Secondly. A rational like you must at least admit facts that cannot be altered, so when you talk about how other species are also unique and how they affect nature, you are far from being rational, you have no decent intellectual honesty to admit ants, hydra, dogs..... Can never acheive what man has done. Allah(swt) does not order me to transgress others, nor violate their rights, nor anything you have said. So your information about Islam are false and cannot enable you to have a good judgement on it. Islam is far from being fundamentalist, :"We made a Moderate nation to be witnesses upon people". "Work for your afterlife as if you are going to die tomorrow, and work for your life as if you are going to live forever". "The best of choices is the moderate one". So Islam is against any form of fundamentalism. Funny when you talk about the experience of this wife here as if it the case in all experiences of this kind, when I have witnessed totally different experiences like hers, when the Muslim husband has nothing to do with Islam , while his converted wife is more devoted to Islam . Rationality is far from fundamentalism, which cannot have a room for others in this world. Islam has a place for you as an atheist while you have no room for a Muslim like me in your world. Does it sound rational to you?
@abdelhamza2296 жыл бұрын
Rational Dude I appreciate the fact you are trying to make the world a better place without some divine fictitious doctrines that have caused so much misery thought out the ages. But for me it is a crucial choice to make , and my rationality, even if you cannot Believe I have any of it, makes me more and more a believer. I cannot imagine myself being a product of some evolution that had occured on some an old primate that resulted from a coincidental big bang of some old material uninexplicable existence. I cannot admit your reasoning about the uniqueness of other species when man is the only one capable of transforming nature to something else.Never other species have the ability to take man captive to be studied as men do with those species. No species have dominated this world like men have done. Will you still dodge admitting my point here? Your information about Islam is just what you have learnt from some haters . Even historical facts are not with you when you claim Islam is to eradicate any other religion. Check out about the Jews who had been chased from Europe during the inquisition of 1492 along with the defeated Muslims of Andalousia; they just find refuge in Muslim countries which welcomed them for more than 500 years until the Sionists took them to the promised land. So why those Muslims of 500 yrs ago did not just kill them and rape their wives and daughters and take their possessions, in stead of giving them lands and even high jobs which many Muslims dreamed to have? These Jews were welcomed all along north Africa until Palestine and beyond? So this fact is enough to disapprove the claims of those who made you think Islam is to eradicate you for you are different. Or are you going to assume that those early Muslims did not know their religion very well as these apostates claim here? As far as I know Islam is not a material thing that can be eradicated, Islam is in the minds and hearts of Muslims , so how you can never eradicate it without harming those ? I can agree with you in terms of reforming Islam within itself, for it is rather practiced quite wrongly in many regions , but eradicating it would be a sort of a blind move that would cause only clashes and more clashes. What if I tell you that you are the weapon of those imperialist of the west who you loath a lot, when you try to eradicate Islam ? What if I tell you that Islam is now fighted by Christians, Jews, atheists , even hindous when you think of your atheism as being persecuted by these powers, I just feel the same about Islam . So why don't we respect each other 's choices without belittling one another way of thinking nor way of life, For what it matters for me is the right to be a Muslim without being considered as a terrorist nor a brainwashed stupid blind who believe in fiction.
@rational06 жыл бұрын
"i can not admit ... i can not imagine" :- does not sound rational to me, more like a closed off mind. A rational mind should be able to regard all theories and arguments in an unbiased manner, and evaluate the evidence and logics that support or oppose the claim. Have you seen a sperm under a microscope, and a human egg? Have you seen a fertilized zygote and then the embryo? Can you imagine yourself a product of the sperm and egg? And then slowly transforming into a fetus which grows organs and limbs and becomes a human later which is you? Why can you not imagine humans species evolved from other species? The evidence is overwhelming. So what stops you from accepting the truth? Again your point of humans dominating is more islamic talk of domination etc. Ego and arrogance. Plants (mostly marine plants) have influenced the environment making the oxygen that all animals including man breath today , more influence than man and his pollution. Would you not agree? Or stick you will to your vain arrogant stand "We are special... born in HIS image ... blah blah". islam is an idea (set of ideas), it can be irradiated, like many other ideas that went out before. How we go about doing it is the test for humanity. Do you irradicate by hate anger violence, by genocide like islamics / mohammad did of so many other faiths ( he tried). Or is there a better way , like free speech and free information and independence of thought as a birth right to children so they are not brainwashed by misguided parents and misleading lying mullas? Or do we replace the set of bad harmful ideas with better ones and let people ([young] muslims) choose? You know, if kids get equal exposure to all religions and ideas , almost all tend to reject islam as it is the most absurd and evil to basic common sense. islam only thrives on your evils like your ego, your tribal cultural pride and defense of your culture and identity especially as the west keeps poking the muslims with occasional provocations.

Stephanie is a superb public speaker. She needn't worry. :) She's extremely welcome to continue telling her story and sharing her perspective and her knowledge. She studied for a long time, so she's a treasure trove of insight that I would be very interested in listening to. I look forward to the times when we dive deep into some specific topics and she's there to add her perspective. She's very welcome to attend any conference or give a talk whenever she feels comfortable. I also welcome her expression of her emotions. It helps humanize these issues way beyond the abstract level and really drives home the impact this is actually having when the cameras aren't rolling and you've left the conference and/or the support group. At the end of the day, this is very much about helping people process their emotions, and Stephanie's capacity to stick with it and doing it so publicly is a brave and beautiful thing. There are no wrong feelings and one should be there to witness them and to empathize. It is good that these talks are shared. They might now find their way to people who might not have come across these points of view in the past. Near the end, Stephanie says she hopes her daughters are just such people. It is a heartbreaking piece of her story, but also deeply poignant, and ultimately, I think, hopeful. It's precisely because she's speaking out that she increases the odds, not necessarily that her daughters will come across this video directly, but that having these stories spread out might allow for a more open contemplation of these differing perspectives, and that can only be good for her daughters in the long run. The potential is there for good things to happen precisely because good, thoughtful people have chosen to help other good people share their stories. That is an amazing and unprecedented thing. And Stephanie is playing a part in that. She should feel extremely proud, no matter how isolated she may feel at times in this conversation. No matter how hard living through these experiences was (is), and no matter how hard retelling it all to strangers may be, talking about it is an amazingly good thing and I'm very glad I know her story and that hundreds, if not thousands of others can be witnesses of her experiences too. No matter how small the crowds in these rooms may appear to be, there are hundreds and thousands of us who are still listening and accompanying all these wonderful, brave people. Please don't feel discouraged. EVER! This is only going to grow. I wish Stephanie and her daughters the best that is possible.

Stephanie is a wonderful speaker, and has a wonderful personality. I do not know why she was over obsessed with body image. It does not matter as much as the contents of her intellect - and her emotional intelligence. And she has loads there. I hope that she finds a new relationship - and because she is free and poerful in her heart, the possibility of this increases substantially. I think she is the type of woman, that many respectful kind hearted men will find attractive. Best of luck to you Stephanie, on your personal journey to the great truth in your heart. And I hope you have a powerful supportive relationship soon that will match what potential you want from life.

The first Muslim I ever met--in my second year of university in the seventies--knew almost nothing about Islam. When I asked her what kind of Muslim she was (Sunni, Shiite, etc.) she said Islam is a united religion, i.e. no sects. I told her to go to the library and check it out for herself (and also the brutal internecine warfare among the competing sects). She did so and returned shocked and mad as hell, having realized that her parents had told her a crock. It's the same with well-meaning non-Muslims who bleat that Islam is an egalitarian religion of peace. They don't know what they're talking about. I tell them to read the Qur'an and the hadith (which they haven't done, of course) and then we can discuss it. Most of them don't, preferring to parrot the kneejerk regressive-left b.s. they're immersed in, but the few that have checked it out are appalled. Islam is as Islam does, and it's an intellectually preposterous and morally reprehensible worldview. I feel very sorry for the poor kids born into this tyrannical, brainwarping crap who can't even leave for fear of ostracism, physical violence, or death. I do know this: those of us who have educated ourselves about this miserable repression need to speak out and keep speaking out, regardless of the brainwashed Muslims and their enablers who try to silence us and represent us as "racist"--being apparently unable or handily unwilling to distinguish between so-called race and culture.

I am a French citizen living in Turkey for more than ten years now, and the guy at the end asks a very good question. When we dont know Islam, it's difficult to have a sound opinion about this religion, cause as Westerners, we are not confortable criticizing it basedon sound understanding and knowledge. Still, to have a Christian background helps a lot, cause actually, the part of Islam which is not compatible with Western life style is actually pretty much the same as the similar part in Christianism, and a simple way to build our own opinion is to look the difference between the Islamic principles and Muslim practice on key topics like equity gender, LGBT recognition and rights, abortion rights, Darwin/evolution, contraception, right for women to divorce, right for women to have sex outside of marriage, use of condoms in order to stop AIDS diffusion, right to critize or caricature God... I mean any one who wonders about Islam should just pick up one of these topics, and read reference books or internet pages or videos in order to learn and compare Islamic principles and Islamic practices. Then, you will understand that principles are one thing and practices are an other. While a lot of Muslims have a life style compatible with Western world, many of them also have very conservative rules which we can challenge without being accused of being racist. It's a bit of work, but while speaking for myself, I can say that I am now able to say exactly what I can accept or not from Islam just like for Catholism...

Samaron Truesomali It's a shame that the British government don't do anything for the people in its country that leave islam. They seemed hell bent on hate speech laws but practically turn a blind eye to apostates that are being targeted by muslim communities.

Spend some time studying. Read the seerah's (Ibn Ishaq, Tabari) and Hadith. Look up the fiqh rulings on issues you are concerned about etc. It's all pretty obvious if you spend the time looking through it with an open mind.

Usama Ali that is what I'm doing, everything is pointing to religion being messed up, there may be positives, but they are also negatives. What I've realised is that no matter the proof you show a Muslim, he/she will always deny the evidence you bring up. Just saying that Muhammad was not perfect will make you have a target in your back😶

Lots of ex-muslims, "pundits" and talk-shows discuss and describe the evils and contradictions of islam, but no one provides a practical solution how these can be removed. Some courageous muslim individuals whisper that the root cause of strife throughout the world is the koran and the hadiths, but no one appears to have spelt out how to get the hateful and violence-inciting parts expunged. This is the only way that will enable islam to coexist with people throughout the world and to live in peace and harmony. Any practical workable suggestions?
@jemts55866 жыл бұрын
Providing community for those who criticise and/or leave Islam in is a part of the solution. People need to talk about all this for things to change, but if they're afraid for their lives, how can basic discussion happen? If discussion or deconversion can't even happen, how can changes be planned and implemented?
@udaysheorey14906 жыл бұрын
S. S. Here's a reasoned (and thus necessarily a somewhat lengthy) response to your encouraging response. 1. I have been following the views of Imam Tawhidi and many other "muslim progressives" or "muslim scholars" (that in itself is a contradiction, an oxymoron!), Indian muslim pragmatics (eg. Tarek Fatah, Dr. Syed Rizwan Ahmed, Wali Rehmani, etc), apostates and non-muslims who discuss threadbare and point out inconsistencies in the koran (eg. Robert Spencer, David Woods, etc). 2. Except for the apostates, I have found no one who crosses the line of saying that the only way islam can be made acceptable to the rest of the (non-muslim) world is for the hateful and violence-inciting parts to be expunged from the koran and hadiths. That is, the people who still profess that they are "muslims" stop short of crossing the line, that "where even angels fear to tread"! 3. "Muslims believe that quran is the unchangeable word of god...". This is like the famous saying of Nietzsche (German philosopher): a visit to a lunatic asylum to see the inmates fervently praying does not convince me of the presence of God. Nothing man-made is can ever be "non-negotiable". 4. Countries (Iran,N.Korea) can be made to consider giving up their nuke programme if a sufficiently strong and sustained financial sanction is applied. This should give us inspiration that the koran can (and must) be edited. 5. This task can NOT be left to muslims. It would be like entrusting the task of rewriting the criminal jurisprudence system (of democratic countries) to co-conspirators and aiders & abetter of looters, rapists, murderers, ... 6. In any case, there is nothing sacrosanct about the koran. Please evaluate the history of how and why the koran was put together and subsequently made more violent (thru "abrogation" and editing).

@@sumar392 It made me realise that religion is not the ultimate truth it claims to be, but is man-made and imperfect. That's a good start. If you can notice when things are flawed or biased, then you can do a better job analysing information and making decisions. I don't know that there is such a thing as "a path of truth." If there is, I doubt or would be in human religion.

A parent can love his/her child in a very delusional way. ~~ Sam Harris I can't believe that Stephanie still has so much faith in her husband after he told them that he would rather they are raped and killed here than going back to Canada. As a mother, I would not be able to sleep at night knowing that he is so reckless and suicidal with his thoughts and my children are there and I'm unable to see them. That's what trauma bonding looks like when a victim defends abusive practices. Abuse doesn't have to be physical, more often than not it's emotional and psychological abuse.

Absolutely. Well said. The regressive left has much to answer for (and I too speak as a left-winger). In refusing to acknowledge the very real repression and violence demonstrated by Islam, they just give ammunition to the right. We're seeing the fallout now in Europe. Not pretty.

if people leave their catholic church , it's because they don't understand it , and they don't even bother checking it out more and read the bible ,, the bible is known as the book of life and truths ,, and it's true ,, when I was younger , and was not practicing my catholic faith ,, I thought of joining other churches , but then I thought , before I do that , I'll check out my own church , and just started from the beginning , I returned to the church and mass, and confession , so I could receive Holy Communion , because I felt drawn back to it , then I started reading the bible and also started saying the rosary , and prayed to God to shown me the truth of things and to let nothing evil deceive me ,, I felt something very strange that was happening to me ,, I felt like I returned home ,, Now I'm sixty eight yrs old , and I would not even dream of leaving my church because it is so rich with so many spiritual gifts ,,even if many priest fall, they are human , just like we are , and they do struggle , but their calling is very high and more is expected of them , and so I'm asking all you people , if you feel lost , please return to God through your catholic church ,, , or at least Christian roots ,, please come back to your Heavenly Father , He is waiting for you to return to Him ,, before you are truly lost , God is Merciful even to the sinner , which we all are ,
